Exciting news today!!!!! 🌟 Introducing Cackle Crackle by @annieatkins, illustrated by meeee 🌝 It comes out next month on July 13th (Summerween, if you will) and it’s….surreal to know it’s almost here at last. I put the pre-order links in my bio! 🍄 The fact that I get to use the words “my picture book illustration debut” has my eight-year-old self in absolute awe. I think she would have been pleased. My fifteen-year-old self would certainly be proud, she loved all things bats and witchy. As for present-day Taryn? Well, I’m already planning a personal little release-day celebration. Cookies will almost certainly be involved 🍪 by @taryndraws

Living her best life in the last days of a long, hot summer, garden witch Herbella grows a “living brain”—a bed of plants sprouting from her own bald scalp—in a bid to be entirely self-sufficient. welcome to Gribble Groblyn’s Tea Shoppe, merchant of fine artisan teas to soothe the mind and invigorating spices to rejuvenate the spirit. Good company is on the house. 🍵🌱I had in fact started this painting last year and abandoned it for no good reason. The other day I remembered it in my WIP graveyard and finished it in an afternoon, which was unusual behavior but actually a lovely time. by @taryndraws
