All good things come to an end ~ 12 years later and I still don’t think it’s fully hit me that cheer is over. It was more than just a sport to me. It was my outlet, my routine, and the place where I found some of my best friends and best memories.

Cheer wasn’t always easy. There were many injuries, setbacks, and moments that tested me more than I expected. But no matter what, it was always the place I could go and be surrounded by girls who felt like family.

Being an Allegany cheerleader will forever be one of the biggest highlights of my life. I’m so grateful for every memory and every person who was part of what made the experience special. It’s surreal to close this chapter, but I’ll carry it with me forever. No matter where life takes me, a part of me will always be that girl on the sidelines💙 by @tarynvanmeter
