Yesterday was one of the hardest days I've ever faced as a Mother and for our family as a whole. Saying goodbye to Lawrence at Syracuse University was filled with endless tears and hugs. I'm deeply thankful I can give my son this journey for a higher education , but leaving him was incredibly tough .We are so close- knit that driving away felt like a piece of us was missing.

Lawrence have an incredible year and enjoy the College experience. Just know I'm only a quick one -hour ✈️ away .And most importantly: when they ask where your from it's never just New York, it's always HARLEM let them know your ENERGY so they know who they dealing with 😆!! taken in Syracuse University by @tasha154

𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘔𝘦 𝘛𝘰 𝘙𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘦 𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧…

Glory be to God… I made it.

After the sleepless nights, the moments of doubt, and waiting to find the light at the end of the tunnel, Here I Stand.

The little girl, born and bred in Harlem, made it to the Ivy League. What once lived in my imagination is now my reality.

Now, I become a student of the world, carrying the knowledge I’ve gained to build, to serve, and to leave a lasting legacy in the communities that shaped me.

This one hit different……..

My Son Is Graduating.

Son I’m so proud of you !I know this felt like the longest race ever but the message stayed the same “Keep Going”, you pushed through and kept the family legacy alive! With over 20 College acceptances high school is officially over, and you’re just getting started! While, I’m not ready to see you leave home, I’m so excited for your future!

See y’all May 1st, The Marathon Continues!!
