I’ve become more aware of the ancestral lineage of people who through their experiences I was created.

Expansive, covering continents and integrating cultures, an ancestral cord so thick and long I acknowledge in awe how interwoven we all are.

Might this serve as encouragement to be kind to one another, to claim the strength and wisdom passed down through our ancestors, and to relish in the richness of being alive!

Pottery, plant medicine, community, folklore and art - these are my favorite intersections.

Spent a breezy morning with @akelahudson at @mother_natives learning what herbs can soothe the lungs and what it takes to make a handcrafted mug.

Came away with this beautiful dish to hold my treasures.
