Happy 21st Birthday to my firstborn, my heart, my first love, and the one who made me a mama.
Baby, if anybody asks me what one of my greatest accomplishments is, I'm gonna point to you every single time.
For 21 years, you've been teaching me things I never knew I needed to learn. You've taught me patience, strength, grace, and how to celebrate victories that other people might overlook. You've shown me what determination looks like, because even when things are hard, you keep going.
Watching you navigate this world, attend Lock Haven, and continue chasing your dreams makes me proud beyond words. It hasn't always been easy, but you've never stopped trying, never stopped growing, and never stopped proving that you're capable of amazing things.
And listen... don't challenge me when it comes to movies or animals because somehow you always know more than I do! 😂 Your memory and knowledge keep everybody around you on their toes.
Being your mom has been one of the biggest blessings God ever gave me. Before anybody else knew your name, I knew your heartbeat. Before anybody else loved you, I loved you. And no matter how grown you get, how many birthdays pass, or how tall you stand, you'll always be my baby.
Twenty-one years ago, God trusted me with a gift, and that gift was you.
So today, I celebrate YOU. Not just for what you've accomplished, but for who you are. Kind. Smart. Determined. Funny. Loving. Uniquely you.
Keep reaching for your dreams, son. Keep walking in your purpose. And whenever life gets tough, remember your mama is always in your corner, cheering louder than anybody else.

17 years ago… God gave me a son that would forever change the rhythm of my life.
Anthony Rashad Sheffey. My Antman.
And whew… if people only knew the heart attached to that name.
You’ve always been more than what people see on the surface. More than football. More than talent. More than the laughs and jokes and music playing in the background. There’s a depth to you. A realness to you. A soulfulness to you that can’t be taught.
You got a laugh that makes other people smile without even trying.
An ear for music that tells me your soul hears life differently.
A voice that can sing for real.
And a presence that people naturally feel the second you walk into a room.
My lineman.
My protector.
My helper.
My poota maskoota.
One thing I admire most about you is the way you love. You love with loyalty. With intention. With your whole heart. And in this world, that’s rare.
You’ve grown into somebody that people can lean on. Somebody people feel safe around. Somebody who keeps showing up no matter what life throws his way. And as your mom, watching that strength grow inside of you has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.
I pray life never changes the best parts of you.
The genuine spirit.
The beautiful heart.
The light you naturally carry.
The way you make people feel seen just by being yourself.
And I hope you always remember this….you are deeply loved here. In every prayer spoken over your life. Every sacrifice made without hesitation. Every late-night thought. Every check-in. Every moment somebody stood beside you. You are loved beyond words.
There is truly something special about you. And I thank God every single day that out of everybody in this world, I get to call you my son.

Happy 18th Birthday to my son 💙
18… whew. That hit different.
From the very beginning, you’ve always been THAT kid…athletic, determined, full of personality, and never afraid to stand out. You kept me on my toes for real… from football fields to me learning hairstyles I never thought I’d be doing, to coloring your hair and just going along with whatever phase you were in. You pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best way, and I’d do it a thousand times over.
You’ve always been my extra busy kid, but every second has been worth it.
You’ve never been the loudest in the room, but you’ve always been one of the most powerful. You move different …quiet, observant, and focused but in so many ways, you speak volumes without saying a word. Your actions, your grind, your presence… it all speaks for itself.
I think about those years when you were younger, chasing your dreams and making big moves early. It wasn’t always easy. I was out here figuring it out day by day, doing whatever I had to do to make sure you had what you needed and a real shot. I never told you “no” when it came to your dreams… I just made a way. Because there is NOTHING I wouldn’t do for you. I would give you the world if I could… and even when I can’t, I’m always going to figure out a way for you.
And look at you now…
Living what you prayed for. Becoming the man we always knew you’d be.
People see the athlete, but I see the heart, the resilience, the grind, the late nights, the sacrifices, and the young man who never gave up even when things got hard. You earned every bit of this.
I’m so proud of you it don’t even make sense. Like… proud isn’t even a big enough word.
No matter how grown you get, you will always be my baby. Always. I love you more than life itself.

Happy Sweet 16 to my bonus baby Ava 🎉💜
I’ve known you since you were just a tiny 2-year-old, and watching you grow up has been something really special to me. You’ve always had the same beautiful spirit ….funny, loving, full of personality, and able to make people laugh without even trying.
You’ve been my little road dog for years… riding with me on my random missions, keeping me entertained always 😂🤣dancing like nobody’s watching, and just bringing your good energy everywhere you go. Those moments mean more to me than you probably know.
You are such a great big sister and the love you show your siblings is something really special. They’re lucky to have you.
Being your bonus mama has always been a blessing to me. I love you so much, I’m proud of you, and I’ll always be in your corner cheering you on.

❄️ My snowstorm baby turns 11 today ❄️
January 26, 2015

The snow had just begun to fall when she entered this world and from that moment on, she’s moved with her own rhythm and light. Bold, loving, full of personality, and impossible not to notice.

And here we are, 11 years later, another snowstorm on her birthday. Same timing. Same reminder that some people arrive exactly when they’re meant to and change the atmosphere just by being present.

She is beautiful in every way.
Smart, kind, caring, always giving, always showing up.
My shadow, my ride-or-die, my everyday joy.

God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave me her. She has made my life brighter, fuller, and better in more ways than I could ever explain.

Happy 14th Birthday to my baby boy, Andre. My youngest son, my last boy, my heart wrapped up in skin. You came into my life and changed it forever, and every single day since, you’ve loved me just as hard as I’ve loved you. Your love is pure, open, and full and I never miss how special that is.
You are gentle and strong at the same time, smart and curious, funny and charming, and so beautifully unapologetic about who you are. You ask questions, you stand your ground….. Watching you grow and shine, especially in boxing 🥊, fills me with pride I don’t even have words for. And no matter how tough you get, you’re still my baby…the hugs, the kisses, the way you love me so freely… that’s my treasure.
Andre, you are my whole heart. You always have been. I am beyond proud of the young man you are and the incredible man you’re becoming. Never doubt how deeply, fiercely, and unconditionally you are loved. Happy 14th son 💙✨ by @tashmarcos

My two boys… my day ones in shoulder pads. Watching y’all run out on that field together for the last time hit me in a place only a mother would understand. From chasing each other around the yard to battling side-by-side under those lights, y’all built a bond that can’t be coached or taught. This moment was heavy, beautiful, and unforgettable. Last year, they were on different teams. Tae was out there grinding with his squad, and Ant was holding it down with his. But here’s the thing: no matter what uniform they wore, their bond never changed. They’ve been a duo since flag football, and I always knew that eventually, they’d be back on the field together. And this year, it’s happening my two boys, back together, finishing their high school careers side by side. The grind, the hustle, the lessons, and the victories, they’re all coming full circle. It’s family, it’s legacy, it’s respect, and most importantly, it’s about doing this together. Tomorrow, they’re not just playing for themselves….they’re playing for everything they’ve worked for. Let’s go, boys. Let’s finish this chapter with fire. 🔥🏈💥 FOE
