Taste of COLORS was a celebration of creativity, community, and connection. 🎨✨💛

During this sensory dinner experience, we led the evening with sound—through the voices of our beautifully talented singers and saxophonists. Sight came alive through the strokes of our live painter @georgiatardyart and the beauty of our backyard landscape.

Taste was experienced through @lemarfarrington’s curated dishes and a wine tasting with @her_itage_wines. Touch bloomed in our @justbloomit_flowerbar bouquet-making experience, while scent filled the venue with every flower, flavor, and note. 🌸🍷🎶

In return, we asked our guests to see in color— because color is freedom. Color is feeling. Color is memory. Color is YOU.

We provided the vision, but the canvas was yours to interpret. Some colors came alive in blazing brightness, others in soft, simmering tones—together, they told a story only this night could create.

She Blooms was a beautiful gathering of women from all walks of life—a true celebration of sisterhood, melanin magic, and community. ✨

It’s incredible to think that just two weeks ago, this was only an idea… and look at what we created! Grateful for our amazing vendors & partners who helped bring this vision to life. So much talent in the room!! 🙌🏾

Still holding the magic of Grandma’s House. 🤎✨

There was something so beautiful about watching generations come together under one roof, sharing stories, laughter, memories, and breaking bread together. 🤎

It felt like coming home.

From the food and music to the little moments that made the day feel nostalgic and familiar, Brown Sugah: Taste of Home was a reminder of the beauty in creating spaces where our culture can be celebrated, shared, and passed down. ✨
