We also introduced the Tasting Notes Pinot Noir in partnership with Ponzi Vineyards. Watching people experience it for the first time meant everything to us.

Sunday felt like a full circle moment.

Thank you to everyone who stepped into Tasting Notes with us. One year in, we celebrated more than time. We celebrated intention, community, and a vision that continues to evolve.

This night held a few milestones. The one year anniversary. Drae’s birthday. And the debut of the 2024 Tasting Notes Pinot Noir in partnership with Ponzi Vineyards.

This bottle is personal. A labor of love, built with our people in mind. We wanted something approachable for those stepping away from moscato and white Zinfandel. But still layered enough to sit with. To study. To age with grace.

A Pinot that opens easy, then unfolds. Secondary notes. Tertiary notes. The kind that pull you back in for another sip, another thought, another conversation.

Tasting Notes has always been about pairing wine with music and food. But let’s be clear… we ate good too. 🍷

Every bite was chosen to complement the wines while still being something you’d want to order on its own.

From Short Rib Cigars and Crab & Lobster Rolls to Truffle Mac & Cheese Bites, Caviar Bumps, and Chocolate Mousse Tarts, the menu showed up.

We also kept complimentary bites flowing throughout the afternoon with polenta bites, pork belly crostini, and more.

Good wine. Good food. Great NRG.

A few vineyard portraits from the last Tasting Notes.

One of my favorite parts of the night is watching people arrive as themselves. Different styles, different stories, different relationships to wine, music and community. Then somewhere between the pours, the conversations and the soundtrack, everybody settles into the same frequency.

These portraits feel like that.
Soft light, good NRG, beautiful people and a vineyard full of presence.

Thank you to everyone that continues to treat Tasting Notes like an occasion. The fits, the intention, the openness, all of it adds to what this becomes.

We had an amazing time this past weekend.

One year of Tasting Notes. From our first pour to this room, I’m at a loss for words. Familiar faces, new NRG, and a room that showed up ready. Dressed with intention, open to the experience, and fully in it.

We debuted our official wine, the Tasting Notes Pinot Noir, in partnership with Ponzi Vineyards. Paired with the Ponzi 2020 Brut Rosé, those were the pours of the night.
