🌮 MARGS & TACOS? SAY LESS. 🍹

📍 @hecho_en_mexico_australia , 12 Peel St, Adelaide

When the margaritas are icy cold and the tacos keep coming, you know you’re in for a good time. 🌮✨

Whether you’re planning after-work drinks, date night or a weekend catch-up with friends, this spot definitely delivers on the good vibes.

Thanks for having us Hecho en Mexico! 🇲🇽❤️

There are BBQ joints… and then there’s @smokingood.adl 🔥

📍172 Henley Beach Road, Torrensville

The thing we loved most? The variety. One night it’s steak, another it’s ribs, weekends are all about brisket and pulled pork… and this Sunday they’re throwing in a seafood boil. Why? Because they felt like it. 😂 Want lobster? They’ve got that too.

🥩 Wednesday – Steak Night
🍖 Thursday – Rib Night
🔥 Friday to Sunday – Brisket & Pulled Pork
🦞 Sunday – Seafood Boil

Behind it all is Grant Neal, aka Hollywood. Dubbed Australia’s BBQ King, he’s a best-selling author, BBQ Pitmaster at Skinnymixers, and has racked up BBQ awards around the world with The Smoking Joint BBQ Team. Safe to say, he knows his way around a smoker.

We kicked the night off with a pickleback shot to get the juices flowing and rolled out with very full, very happy bellies.

That beef rib… wow. 🤤 Not many places do them this well. Did you see those juices?

Great food, great atmosphere and genuinely great people. Safe to say we’ll be back. Thanks so much to the team for having us and making us feel right at home! #adelaide #adelaideeats #bbq

Who’s joining us next time? 👇 by @tastytag

We have a problem, I feel like this is our second home 😆 @lvn_restaurant @birdinhandwine @visitadelaidehills by @tastytag

Such a lovely evening with @ozharvest last night 💛

What they stand for is so much bigger than food. The work they do to rescue food, change mindsets, support people in need and reduce waste is honestly incredible.

It also really makes you stop and think… how much do we waste without even realising? Perfectly good food, leftovers, produce we forget about in the fridge. Small changes from all of us could make a huge difference. We love food! Obviously, 🙄 but this really has adjusted our perspective on how we can be more aware of how we consume.

Big love to @adelaideoval for hosting so beautifully as always, and what a fitting conversation to be having during @tastingaustralia 🍴✨ Thank you so much for letting us be a part of this amazing cause. by @tastytag

HILLS LUNCH DONE RIGHT 🍋🍕

📍 Grunthal Brewery, Adelaide Hills

Spent our weekend lunch at @grunthalbrew and wow… so well looked after even while they were so busy (a good sign 👀). Parking alone makes it worth the trip, way easier than Hahndorf.

The menu is perfectly balanced, think easy snacks (my favourite was the arancini), share plates and those 48hr dough pizzas 🤍 everything just hits.

But I cannot stop thinking about the limoncello margarita… salty, sweet, citrusy, with coconut on the rim. I’m still dreaming about it.

Perfect for a boozy long lunch or take the fam, soak up the sunshine and let the kids run wild on the grass 🌿 they’ve also got pizza nights and events worth keeping an eye on.

Go on… book the lunch 🍸

CRISPY, GOLDEN, AND A LITTLE BIT ADDICTIVE 🍗✨

📍 @chickenbandits.adl

Went to Chicken Bandits recently for dinner and honestly… this one surprised me. Everything is cooked in beef tallow (yes, that’s the secret), which means next-level flavour without that heavy, greasy feel after.

Crispy, juicy, and somehow still light, I didn’t leave feeling like I needed a nap, which is rare for fried chicken nights. The burgers were banging.

They’re also working on renos to bring in a café/sports bar vibe, and I’m very curious to see how that lands 👀 could be a whole new go-to.

If you’re chasing fried chicken and burgers that actually hits without the regret… this might be your spot.

SPICE MODE: ACTIVATED 🔥🍲
📍 @malatown.au – Unley Rd SA

Build your own hot pot and make it your way, choose from classic soup or sizzling dry 👀 Pick your broth (yes laksa is an option), set your spice level from mild to “why did I do this to myself” 🌶️ and stack your bowl with whatever you’re craving.

No minimum weight (we love flexibility), plus free sides like rice + prawn crackers to round it all out. Thanks so much for having us! 🫶

MORE WINE 🍷
📍 Down the Rabbit Hole, McLaren Vale

A dreamy day at Fiore at @downtherabbitholewines — beautiful wines, relaxed setting, and a panna cotta that genuinely stopped us in our tracks. One you must add to your list if you love rustic, good quality food and wine. by @tastytag

Need something to do now the sun is out? @darrysverandah degustation, you must option for the lobster bisque. Wine parring also very generous, the Riesling was 💋 by @tastytag

A NEW FEAST HAS LANDED
📍Hunter & Barrel

Steak lovers — this one’s for you. Juicy cuts grilled to perfection, a huge menu of so many things we wanted to try, the grilled prawns were to die for, and highly recommend the tacos! The cocktails were delicious. 🤍

Add this spot to your must-try list. You can find them on the corner of King William and North Terrace! Thanks for the invite @hunterandbarrel 🫶 by @tastytag

LEGENDARY NOODLES 📍

A taste of Lanzhou tradition in every slurp — clear aromatic broth, hand-pulled noodles made just how you like them (you can customise the thickness), and that perfect balance of comfort and heat.
A bowl for every mood, every craving, every palate. Thanks for having us @legendbeefnoodle.sa 🫶
