Excited to host Ira Tattelman at Art Clinic Online this Saturday, September 12 from 10:30-11:30. Ira is a multi-disciplinary artist based in DC whose work turns the stuff we throw away into something worth stopping for. Think foraged materials, found objects, and installations that make you look twice at the everyday clutter around you.

His FOUND project brought community-made sculptures out of discarded junk to Tanner Park in Eckington for Earth Day, and his practice runs the gamut from printmaking to photography to large-scale installations here and abroad. Ira digs into how we mark the places we live, the traces we leave behind, and what it means to live in a society that's quick to discard and slow to repair.

Come hear him talk about it, ask him questions, and get inspired to see your own scraps a little differently. It's free, it's Saturday morning, and it's a great way to start your weekend with some art talk.
