I have been blessed to know Lynda for about 25 years. She is one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and giving people you will ever meet. She has spent her entire life showing up for others, but she has a deeply independent spirit—she has never asked for help from anyone in her life. Now, she is facing an overwhelming crisis completely on her own, and it is my turn to show up for her.
Lynda is living with advanced Parkinson’s disease, which severely limits her mobility and makes everyday tasks an agonizing struggle. She has no family nearby to look in on her. Her only living relative is her brother, who tragically cannot be here for her as he is battling advanced Alzheimer’s.
To make an incredibly difficult situation worse, Lynda's food stamps (SNAP) were recently cut off due to an administrative issue, leaving her facing severe food insecurity. Because of her medical condition, she is a strict vegetarian, making it nearly impossible for her to find proper, nutritious food through standard, pre-packaged local food pantries.
Through all of her physical pain and isolation, Lynda's greatest comfort comes from her three beloved dogs. They are her family and her constant companions. However, due to her worsening Parkinson’s and financial distress, she is physically and financially unable to afford their veterinary care, food, or the daily physical help required to look after them.
Because Lynda would never ask for charity herself, I have stepped in to launch a GoFundMe campaign to ensure she can survive this crisis safely, healthily, and with her dignity intact. 100% of the funds will go directly toward:
• Fresh vegetarian groceries & home delivery
• Urgent vet care & dog food for her 3 companions
• In-home caregiving support for daily tasks
• Emergency medical & utility expenses
No senior should have to navigate advanced illness, hunger, and profound isolation alone. Let’s show Lynda the same kindness she's given the world for decades. by @tattooedwineguy

No family is the same. We get some things right. Sometimes, we get things very wrong.
Time doesn’t heal all wounds.
Love doesn’t always win.
Years can go by in the blink of an eye, leaving so many things unsaid, unresolved.
