Part two of my solo hike in the Karkonosze Mountains. The route was 14 kilometers long, but I’ve managed to fit it all into about a minute of video. Beautiful waterfall, scenic trails, breathtaking views, and one more drawing added to my sketchbook. Enjoy watching! by @tattooinprague

Hannya Mask with a Snake. I’ve finished this classic Japanese composition, measuring 100 × 70 cm, created with ink and watercolor. Krkonoše Mountains.

I had a couple of days off, so I decided to escape to the mountains and spend some time sketching landscapes. In this video, I’ll show you a small part of my mountain adventure and, of course, the artwork I created right there in nature.

Hope you enjoy watching! by @tattooinprague

Japanese Tattoo Sleeve in Prague

Hey everyone! My name is Alex, and I work at my own tattoo studio right in the heart of Prague.

Today, I want to show you an exciting Japanese sleeve project featuring a samurai, a dragon, a monkey, and a rabbit. The background will include rocks, cliffs, and, of course, traditional Japanese wind patterns.

In this video, I’ll show you the sketch and the first tattoo session. We positioned the entire composition on the arm, refined some elements using the freehand technique, and completed the first outlines with a coil tattoo machine.

This is just the beginning of a big and exciting project!

Want an amazing Japanese tattoo in Prague? Come visit us at the studio. You already know where to find me!

A nature inspired design, drawn with pencil on ordinary paper.

Today I saw my wife and younger daughter off for a short holiday with her parents, and then I packed my things and headed into the forest, to one of my favorite places.
A lot of people say that wild camping is completely forbidden in the Czech Republic, but it is not quite that simple. I really love Hřiměždice and come here quite often. This time the river was so low that I had never seen the landscape look like this in the last seven years.
It was really interesting to see such a familiar place looking completely different. Beautiful, peaceful and unusual in its own way. Basically, everything I love.

I had a great time relaxing with my friends, taking a break from the city and trying to capture everything I saw around me on paper.
Here is how it turned out.

Wishing everyone a great mood and more time in nature. by @tattooinprague

Hi everyone 👋 My name is Alex. I work in the center of Prague, painting and tattooing.

Here is a little look at the process of creating my new 100 × 70 cm artwork. Brush, ink, water and watercolor paper. Nothing complicated, just time, practice and a love for Japanese aesthetics.

Thank you to everyone who follows my work and supports Japanese tattooing and art. This piece is not finished yet. More coming soon.

Cover-Up Sleeve.

This is definitely not a simple case, but it is actually quite common. People often choose tattoos with a large amount of fine detail without thinking about how the tattoo may look 5–10 years later.

Over time, lines naturally become slightly thicker, very small elements can lose definition, and details placed too close together may start to blend. And yes fans of micro-realism may eventually face the same issue.

But this is not a reason to be discouraged. In many cases, an old tattoo can be successfully covered and completely transformed with the right approach and proper planning.

Today we started working on this sleeve cover-up. I’ll show you the final result as the project progresses.

For large-scale tattoo projects and cover-ups, you can book a consultation through our website, Instagram, or email.

Hannya is one of the most iconic motifs in Japanese tattooing. The mask represents powerful emotions, passion, jealousy, and inner conflict, reminding us how thin the line can be between love and obsession.

In this piece, a red Hannya mask takes center stage, surrounded by flowing clouds and smoke. The contrast between the bold red and deep black tones creates a strong visual impact, while the composition follows the natural shape of the leg to maintain movement and balance from every angle.

This tattoo is fully healed. No filters, no retouching. Just the way it looks in real life.

Done at Tattoo in Prague.
