“okay… he owns a tattoo studio but does he even tattoo?”

me: “hold my coffee”☕️

i decided it was time to give my tattooing journey its own funky corner into the universe aside from my photography. i have SO MANY exciting things in the works for all the creative endeavors i’m passionately committed to, and figured it was only fitting to give each of them their own space to grow, evolve, and inspire.

and after all, i want you funkers to be able to follow along with whichever creative journey speaks to you and draws you closer to my heART❤️‍🔥

i’m not going anywhere by any means. if anything, this adds so much MORE creative inspiration to ALL the masterpieces i can’t wait to show you funkers!

thank you, ALWAYS, for the endless love and support you’ve shown me all these years! whether you’ve been funkin’ with me for years or just stumbled across my funky little world, you mean the absolute world to me🖕🏽🎨

now let’s get to funkin’ creating art! currently have some availability left for october! reach out for all your spooky tattoo needs!

keep it funky,

chuy🖕🏽❤️‍🔥 taken in The Funk Palace by @tattoosbychuy

new walls brings new beginnings (and a fresh canvas to get funky with) 🎨🖌️

before we bring this new home to life, we have to lay down the first layer of paint!

what’s the funkin’ verdict?! 👀

help me pick the new studio color

colors shown in order they were painted on the wall:
🖕🏽Slipper Satin by Farrow & Ball
🖕🏽Wevet by Farrow & Ball
🖕🏽School House White by Farrow & Ball
🖕🏽Fossil by Benjamin Moore

which one are we painting the new palace? 🎨

“this is my why🎨” - chuy

the funk palace may be built on creativity, passion, and a whole lot of funk (of course), but none of it would exist without the backbone of family.

my dream has never been to simply build a tattoo studio. i’ve always wanted to create a home for creativity. a safe space where artists, families, and even the next generation of little funkers can walk through these doors and see the infinite possibilities of what can happen when art, passion, and love all live under one roof.

one day, i hope these walls are filled with more than tattoos — art nights, workshops, community, kids creating without limits, and people simply feeling inspired to dream a little bigger.

and as we get closer to opening these doors, i’m reminded that i wouldn’t be here without the people who have loved me, believed in me, and supported every crazy creative idea along the way.

welcome home, to all the funkers out there!🖕🏽🎨 taken in Apple Valley, California by @tattoosbychuy

a new tattoo studio means more space to welcome incredible artists into our home — with big open arms (and even bigger creative ideas) 🎨

we are truly building something incredibly special here.

if you’re looking for a space where you can be part of a creative, energetic flow, provide a beautiful experience for your clients, and continue growing in your craft into the best artist you want to be — we’d absolutely love to funkin’ hear from you.

reach out to us, come feel the energy, and let’s get funky🖕🏽🎨✨
