For fuck sakes, find a hobby and stick to it. The gym and hikes don’t count btw. There’s nothing greater than creating. Creating music is something few people do because of the difficulty bell curve. In order to get decent at an instrument it takes many hours and most will quit long before becoming intermediate. I am still at the adolescence stage of learning how to play the drums in my opinion, but through persistency and obsession I have become a pretty strong drummer over the last year. I’m convinced that @speedleopard.band will be one of the best bands that Vancouver has ever seen. We’re nearly done our first album. The most important thing is we are working every week towards our goals. Equal work being put in on all sides which is vital and we’re having a ton of fun but also getting to work and taking it seriously. Pick up that guitar that’s been collecting dust over the past decade sitting in the corner of your bedroom and just start playing because creating is the highest form of expression and there ain’t nothin’ better than making music that makes you stoked. What a great time. Our first car show - 27th Annual Langley Cruise In. A few people came to see me and my car as well that’s really freakin’ cool. I was surrounded by a buncha new friends. Cars are wicked. They bring life to you and those around you. I loved seeing people take pics of my car and tell me stories about how they used to have one, or how they want one. I even got the odd “thats my dream car” now that really touches your heart lemme tell ya. I love car culture. Don’t care what you drive, if you like it, fuckin’ eh. Good enough for me to be a fan! Get a fixer upper and you’ll gain a lifelong hobby 🤘🏼 I have put a lotta work into my girl right there and boyyyyy does she ever make me smile. No Take Backs

This one is for the ages. The kind that will be feint whispers in ten thousand millennia but the myth will prevail. The message? The echoes? You only get one shot. A cliché as old as Father Time himself. It was true before there was literature that the old gods would read through passages that were merely ruffled and tattered pages of an ancient diary… A statement chanted amongst the dead. “There is no take backs”
So take this offering of a song as a nod to our ancestors and all those who have outlived their mortal self’s. Strap in, and turn this up to 11.

Just made it home. Got outta the Shuswap while the fires were gettin’ the sky all hazy. It was weird waking up this morning to an ominous smoky fog engulfing the entire lake. Got outta there right in time. Pics at the end of the slide to check out. Here’s some pics of the travels with my travel buddy. I got to do something I didn’t even think was an option. Play drums on the end of a dock. Epic. In front of my mother and sister. Even better. I bought this little briefcase drum kit about a month ago and this is exact what I knew I’d be using it for. What a fun little kit. Very minimal but you just improvise with something like this.
