Son of solidarity.
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15⭐️
Through every season no matter how crushing our high priest is right there with us delighting in our healing. Christ’s most deepest impulse is to move towards our suffering. Going to Jesus for mercy, love, and help in our sadness and sinfulness, is in fact going with the flow of his deepest desires. Hebrews 12:2 says, “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” For the joy!!! The joy of the cleansing and forgiveness of sin. For our joy.
Celebrate our high priest that’s very mission is to heal us not only for our increased comfort but for his as well. by @tatum.naum
