CIY Move is one of the most life altering experiences that one could experience. It brings out emotions, feelings, and thoughts you didn’t even know you had. It forms relationships and strengthens bonds to new levels. I truly wouldn’t be where I am in not only my life but also in my spiritual life if it wasn’t for CIY. A great deal of grief came over me on the last night of camp as I had the sad realization that this would be the last time I would be in the same room with my people. I never really expected this final last to actually happen.

The friendships that youth group formed could and will never be broken. I am so extremely grateful for every lesson learned, every worship song sung, and every Wednesday spent in one of my most favorite places. Thank you Beloit First Christian Church for giving me a place to come weekly and truly learn more about my God.

While this chapter of my life closes, I know that God has bigger plans for me. I am excited to see where my next journey in the Lord’s plan leads me.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Thank you Jesus for youth conferences.

Thank you Jesus for Glorieta, New Mexico.

Thank you Jesus for youth workers and leaders.

Thank you Jesus for blessing me with the best of friends.

Thank you Jesus for blessing my life with more than I could ask for.

Thank you Jesus for making me who I am.

Thank you Jesus.

Track and Field. A sport that not only has led me to the highest of highs but also the lowest of lows. A sport that has taught me more life lessons than any classroom could. A sport that has brought me the closest friendships and more opportunities than I could ever ask for.

Being a part of this team was nothing short of a dream come true. We faced challenges and struggles but always made time to rejoice and celebrate our victories. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to win a state title than the girls I was standing with. I love these people with every part of my heart!

If you would have told 12 year old Tatum what she was going to accomplish in high school, she would have looked at you like you were crazy. Bittersweet is the word I have used to describe this weekend. Because while I didn’t necessarily end up throwing the marks I had hoped to, I was still proud of how I performed. I am so eternally grateful for all that God has allowed me to do.

Thank you, dad, for coaching me. Thank you for being there for me when I was deeply struggling, but for also being there in my successes. Thank you for pushing me when I didn’t want to be pushed and dedicating so much time to a sport we both so deeply care about. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for your guidance and selflessness.

To the Beloit community: I hope you accept my deepest gratitude and true thankfulness. Your support throughout my time as a Trojan has never been overlooked. I hope that I have made you proud.

Thank you Beloit Track and Field. Thank you for every opportunity, every track meet, every bus ride, and every victory. To be a part of such a prestigious program has been nothing but life changing and glorious.

While I will miss competing in a Trojan uniform, I will not have to change my colors! I am so extremely excited to compete as a cowgirl and I can’t wait to see where Oklahoma State leads me in the next few years!

A perfect weekend full of hugs, smiles, and celebrations!

Thank you, Beloit High, for everything.

Thank you Jesus.

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

One of todays stops📍Beloit (3A)

Trojans have some of the premier throwers in the state and in the country. Loaded group of seniors plus much more led by Kansas HS throwing legend Casey Seyfert who is the throwing coach and school principal. While we’ve caught up with the majority of all these athletes in other sports in recent memory, we will hear from them as they prep for the KU relays. #sportsinkansas taken in Beloit, Kansas by @tatum.seyfert

Eternally grateful for absolutely every memory, laugh, hard time, lesson, and game cheer has brought me. I will miss the endless laughter, smiles, inside jokes, and sweet friends that all came along in the 2 short years I was a part of this team. Crazy to think it is already over but I know that I wouldn’t change the whole experience for the world. taken in Beloit Jr-Sr High by @tatum.seyfert

Feeling absolutely blessed to announce my commitment to Oklahoma State University to continue my track and academic journey! I want to thank God for providing me the gifts and talents he has. I want to thank my dad for being the best coach and biggest supporter a girl could ask for, and I want to thank my friends and family for their continuous support they have provided me throughout my entire high school career. I finally want to thank all the coaches who have reached out and believed in my abilities. I can’t wait to see where this journey leads me and am super excited to become a cowgirl!
