In front of 450 of our family members, closest friends, colleagues, community leaders and Scottsdale residents, @cactusflowerflorists was inducted into Scottsdale’s History Hall of Fame last night. Our family business of 53 years is one of only 37 local businesses over the past 30 years to be recognized with this prestigious honor. I could not be more proud of my amazing husband @luomae and sister-in-law @luomadyrr, our supportive family, and the talented staff who have been a part of so many people’s life moments and memories all thanks to the trailblazer in the floral industry and city of Scottsdale, my mother-in-law Sharron who pursued her passion by opening a flower shop in the small city of Scottsdale in 1972. In her honor, may you always have love to share, health to spare, and friends that care. Cheers to the next 53 years! by @tatumluoma

09.09.09. Cayden made his grand debut one day early, and our entire world changed for the better. ❤️

We picked his name after meeting a little boy walking on the beach on Coronado Island years earlier. The little boy said, “My name is Cayden, and you can’t find it on a keychain anywhere.” I said, “My name is Tatum, and you can’t find it on a keychain either.”

His middle name is John, after my dad and the same middle name as Eric and his dad. Three men for Cayden to admire, learn from and look up to.

Until I became a mom, I never knew this kind of love. I also never knew just how rewarding, demanding and amazing motherhood could be. Cayden has kept us on our toes in the very best way since the day he was born. He challenges us, inspires us, makes us laugh, asks thoughtful questions, stays curious, works hard and, when he wants something, he goes after it.

At 17, Cayden loves rowing with his crew team, sports cars, travel and adventure, Brophy College Preparatory, really good food, great music and movies. He still has his own garbage business after four years (which stems from his aspirations to be a garbage man when he was a little kid), and he has his sights set on NYU to study finance.

We are so incredibly proud of the young man he is becoming and cannot wait to see how far he goes and what he does with all of the dreams he has for his future. More than anything, I hope he always keeps God in his heart, stays humble and kind, follows his heart, and never loses sight of who he is.

We love you more than words can say, kiddo. ❤️ Happy 17th birthday, Cayden. We are so lucky to be your mom and dad. by @tatumluoma

Magical Maui, you have my heart. 🫶

A week filled with sunrises on Ka’anapali Beach and morning swims. My morning commute along the sand to Whalers Village for an açaí bowl. A catamaran sail with hundreds of dolphins. 🐬 Snorkeling alongside a dozen honu. 🐢 Hosting media at the historic @sheratonmaui and being one of the first to experience their new restaurants. Nightly cliff dives while watching the sun melt into the ocean. And the most beautiful rainbow that lasted for more than two hours on my final night in paradise. 🌈

I feel so blessed for the time I get to spend on this island, surrounded by people who make me feel like ohana. 🌺🌊☀️ taken in Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa by @tatumluoma

So proud of this kiddo for shining bright on live TV for a @cactusflowerflorists segment on @yourlifearizona. When I asked if he was nervous, “no mom, you trained me well.” Spoken like the son of a publicist. 🤣 taken in Channel 3 AZ Family by @tatumluoma

We began and ended our Greece trip the same way….a memorable rooftop dinner with the Acropolis as the backdrop.

Athens is a city that most people dismissed as a highlight of Greece. You have to visit but there are better places we were told. We chose Athens because of our boys excitement and interest in Greek history and mythology.

We discovered a bustling city with beautiful ruins, architecture and so many stories to tell. Delicious local restaurants and some of the world’s best cocktail bars. The breathtaking Athens Riviera where we lounged poolside at @fsathens. Fiery sunsets that melted into the city. The stadium that held the first Olympics. Statues in honor of Greek gods and goddesses. And so much more! Three days was not long enough to fully discover Athens.

While we’ve been home a week, my heart is still in Greece…💙🤍 taken in Athens, Greece by @tatumluoma

Crete was the surprise favorite for all of us.

Chania is where we stayed and is known as the Venice of Crete…with its cobblestone streets, charming Old Town, Venetian era walls and harbor, and iconic light house. We met the friendliest people in all my travels and savored the best Greek food and wines. The boutique hotel @casadelfinohotel_spa is owned and operated by a sixth generation family; they could not have been more welcoming. And every evening, we watched as the sun melted into the Aegean Sea while the moon and Venus rose into the sky. These beautiful moments will forever be engrained in my memory.

I can only hope we are lucky enough to return to the largest island in Greece and experience even more of this beautiful destination. 💙🤍 taken in Chania, Crete, Greece by @tatumluoma

The beaches of Crete are some of the most beautiful in the world. A boat taxi took us to remote beaches only accessible by water and the quaint car free village of Loutro on the southern part of the island. The Aegean Sea was every shade of blue and simply breathtaking. We jumped off rocks, swam in caves and jet skied with our boys for their very first time (and laughed harder than I have in a very long time). I fell in love with Crete at the beach. 🦀🌊 taken in Crete, Greece by @tatumluoma
