11 YEARS SOBER! ❤️

October 8, 2015, I made a decision that would forever change the course of my life. Eleven years later, I’m still discovering just how much that one decision has given me.

Sobriety hasn’t made life perfect, but it’s given me the freedom to experience every beautiful, messy, heartbreaking, and incredible moment along the way.

Every year, I share a piece of my journey in hopes that it might inspire someone who needs to hear that change is possible.

Please take a few minutes to watch my video. And if my story resonates with you, I encourage you to share it. You never know who might be struggling silently or who needs a little hope today.

Some adventures are hard to put into words. 🏔️🐴

Eight horses, miles into the Wyoming wilderness, scaling mountain peaks with the Tetons stretching out in front of us. The kind of country that makes you feel incredibly small and incredibly alive all at once.

Tyler, Chace, Kya, Tayson and I made memories out there that I know I’ll hold onto forever.

I rode JC and packed Maple. Our young boys Maverick and Moose absolutely blew us away with how well they handled everything the mountains threw at them. Tayson rode Woody, who took care of him every single step of the way. Kya and Chace were on their trusty steeds, Blaze and Dez. And of course, Charlie 🐾 came along for the adventure because apparently even the golden retriever needed to conquer the Wyoming wilderness.

There’s just something about seeing the Tetons from the back of a horse, far away from roads, crowds and everything else. Just family, horses, mountains and miles of wild country.

These are the days. The ones I wish I could bottle up and keep forever. ❤️

Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

We remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the countless acts of courage and selflessness that followed.

Twenty-five years later, the images, the stories, and the sacrifices of that day remain with us.

As a company built around sharing some of America’s most treasured wild places, we are especially grateful today for this beautiful country we get to call home and for the freedoms we are privileged to enjoy.

May we never forget the lives lost. May we never forget the heroes. And may we never forget how, in the days that followed, we came together as Americans.

I have to give a HUGE shoutout to my incredibly talented friend @lzmarti with @wasatch_art_and_photography! 🤍📸

She joined us for one of the best days at Bear Lake, riding horses, playing in the water, and of course letting the horses roll in the sand 😂🐴🌊 She captured these moments so beautifully, and I’m so grateful to have photos that I’ll be able to look back on forever.

Liz has such an eye for capturing the little moments, the personalities, and all the things that make a memory feel like you. She’s not only incredibly talented, but she’s also one of those people who makes being in front of the camera feel easy and fun.

Some days are just good for the soul. 🤍

Took Wapiti to Bear Lake for a day of doing a couple of her very favorite things… swimming and, of course, rolling in the sand immediately after. 😂 There’s something about watching this mare light up in the water that makes me so happy.

Liz came along and rode my new boy, who apparently decided pretty quickly that Bear Lake life isn’t too bad either. 🥹

The older I get, the more I realize the best birthdays can’t be bought.

This year, the only thing I wanted was to saddle up Wapiti, pack what we needed, and disappear into the mountains for an overnight trip. No schedule. No distractions. Just us, the trail, and the kind of peace you can only find miles from the nearest road.

Sometimes the best way to celebrate another year of life is to spend it doing what makes you feel the most alive. by @tauni07

Alright folks. It’s time to start looking for homes for my calves. I have some highland cross calves and Mini highlands. Bubbles is my little stud muffin dun bull who is going to push the micro to mini size. He’s teeny and a tank. Alfalfa and French toast are from the cows I purchased this last year that were supposedly bred to groots dad. They don’t look like it and I think they are crossed with perhaps a low line or black. They are still bulls but I can steer them. They are still stinking cute and can add some variety if you wanted to keep them as bulls for some nice highland possibly angus crosses(I hear it’s similar to waygu(not that I want my calves to be part of that market). Then Carmello is my mini brindle heifer out of Hershey and Rolo. She will stay small and the mini will ring true! There is another cute bull calf born a week ago that is out of those cows I purchased but he has some cute markings. A heart on his head and the tip of his tail is white!
Today little Pongo was born and he will stay small. Another good breeding bull for a herd! His color will splash In his offsprings genetics! He is a groot baby and will have a good demeanor! All the groot babies do! I still have another Oreo baby due and another midsized highland baby due. Both are groot babies.

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who has loved endlessly, given selflessly, and supported fiercely through every chapter of life.

My mom has always been the kind of person who puts everyone else before herself, loves with her whole heart, and somehow still finds the strength to give more. Through every success, heartbreak, crazy dream, and challenge, she has been my constant.

Thank you for being the encourager, the helper, the listener, and the example of unconditional love. So much of who I am is because of you.

National Siblings Day 🤍

Four girls, four completely different personalities, and somehow it all just works.

Brooke paved the way for all of us, showing what strength, family, and grit really look like. I landed right in the middle, trying to keep up and keep the chaos. Keri brought the perfect mix of fun, sass, and loyalty that keeps things interesting. And then there’s Brinley… our baby, who came along and somehow became the one we all protect, spoil, and laugh with the most.

We’ve grown up in different seasons of life, but no matter where we are or what we’re doing, that bond never changes. Built-in best friends, lifelong support system, and the only people who truly understand where you came from.

There’s something different about gear that’s made right.

I just got my hands on some pieces from Dreamfield Farm and Tack and I’m seriously impressed.

Their four knot halters are not only functional, they’re built with intention. You can feel the quality the second you pick one up. Balanced, clean, and made to last.
