I’m so incredibly honored to have received this for my work on Dune: Part 2, and to be the first Pakistani to receive this for engineering and only the second Pakistani ever to win a Grammy. It’s crazy to walk into my living room and see this thing just sitting there. Taurees Habib won a Grammy for Dune: Part Two. On November 14 he is on one of our artists’ panels in Brooklyn. Tickets in bio.

More than a decade working alongside Hans Zimmer, on sound design and sampling for Interstellar, Dunkirk, Blade Runner 2049, The Lion King, Dune, No Time to Die and Top Gun: Maverick.

In February 2025 he became the first Pakistani recording engineer to win a Grammy, for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.

Karachi-raised. Berklee-trained. His debut single, Cannibal Cathedral, is out now.
