VELVET VELVET VELVET...

Moving forward with a sample piece I made, this was a 60cm piece of luxurious velvet fabric gathered down into 30cm, I had to figure out how I was going to get the fabric stitched down and in a position to be made into a cushion, so I traced 30cm on to the Calico and tacked down my velvet, this helped the stability and meant I could treat the manipulated fabric normally, afterwards I stitched down beautiful champagne crystals, if a second sample is made I would think about attaching the crystals first and then manipulating the fabric I would love to see where the crystals end up! taken in London, United Kingdom by @tauriontaylor
