Islamic finance, made verifiable.
Built for giving and financing, done right.

What is Tawf Foundation? We're building open, privacy preserving technology for a more transparent Islamic philanthropy.

Zakat, waqf, and sadaqah move billions every year, yet donors rarely see where the funds actually go. Trust shouldn't require blind faith.

Charity today is fragmented, hard to verify, and short on real transparency. Here's what's broken.

Zero knowledge proofs, digital identity, and open source smart contracts let donors and institutions prove impact without exposing personal financial data. Privacy and transparency can coexist.

We believe trust is the foundation of Islamic finance. Technology should strengthen amanah, not replace it.

Follow along as we open source our research, ship new tools, and grow a community around transparent giving. tawf.foundation by @tawflabs

Happy Mawlid Al Nabi ﷺ 🤍

Today, we remember the birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and reflect on his mercy, character, patience, and compassion.

May Allah ﷺ bless us with the ability to follow his Sunnah, embody his character, and keep his example close to our hearts.

اللهم صل وسلم على نبينا محمد

One year of building @tawflabs 🤍

The faces have changed. People joined, people moved on, responsibilities shifted, priorities got reordered more than once.

That is what a year actually looks like when you are building something from nothing.

What has not changed is the mission.

To make Islamic giving verifiable, so a muzakki can know where their zakat went without having to expose what they own to prove it.

Man jadda wajada.
Whoever strives, finds a way.

And “Wa an laysa lil-insani illa ma sa’a.”
“And that there is not for man except what he strives for.”
Qur’an 53:39

Not everyone agreed with the approach. Some still do not.

We kept building anyway.

This year, we published our research on zero knowledge zakat at ICIMTech 2026, a Scopus indexed IEEE conference. Earlier this month, I also had the opportunity to pitch Tawf at @indonesiablockchainweek 2026.

But more than the milestones, I think the biggest lesson has been sabr.

Perseverance beats reacting to every small thing.

We are building Tawf for the long term, not the short term. That means slower decisions, harder conversations, and a lot of work nobody sees.

“Fa inna ma’al ‘usri yusra.”
“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.”
Qur’an 94:5

To everyone who has supported, challenged, advised, built, prayed, or simply believed in Tawf along the way, jazakumullahu khairan.

And to the early, current team, and co-founders who carried this with me, @bhremada.fka, @minzelo_rahman, @dickyybayu, @curryismus, @marcell_nf, @riyanarhm, and many more I cannot name one by one.

This is yours as much as mine.

Alhamdulillah for one year.

Still early. Bismillah for what comes next. 🤲 by @tawflabs
