Bought this piece of shit over a month ago at this point to replace my explorer that got T-boned. It’s been a fucking process to make it better but it’s getting there slowly but surely. The pile of parts keeps getting bigger and smaller at the same time but it gets better every time it goes in and out of the shop. So everyone welcome the new weekend wheeler. by @tawmy_boy

Picked up another toy yesterday. Good ol 94 Honda XR250R. Cleaned out the carb, tuned it, rode it, tuned it again. Now it revs damn near perfect. Probably still needs some new gas and a proper carb rebuild kit, but I’m happy to keep a classic alive like this. taken in Reedley, California by @tawmy_boy

The exploder is back at 100%. She’s got new injectors, spark plugs and wires, new headlights and bezels to match the grill, also threw on the painted side pieces under the lights so it doesn’t look like it has an overbite. And it turns out that the light bar that came on the early 2000s Jeep libertys fits really well on explorers (it’ll have LEDs soon). by @tawmy_boy

Test run after lift and other modifications and now I know what it needs. 35s, 5.13 gears, and redesigned front end. Still trying to break in the rear springs but I might remove a leaf if they don’t get softer. Also probably going to build a custom front bumper to fit better and look better. by @tawmy_boy

New Rockcrawler/Overlander I snagged for a good price. 91’ Ford Explorer with the 4.0 and a 5 speed. Cant wait to get working on it and turn it into the most badass Explorer on the road. Give me some ideas and let me know if any of you have spare 1.5’ DOM tubing laying around. I wanna get some bumpers and sliders made.

Wheeling last weekend was fun but found out the ZR2 flexes a lot more than it used to with the new springs, and it liked to rip my rear fenders off. So maybe some cutting a better mounting for them ahead. by @tawmy_boy

So sick of working, I just want to be outdoors having fun again. Wheeling trip hopefully coming up in July. Gotta get the winch, lights, and spare mounted. by @tawmy_boy

I’ve had these on for like two weeks now I just forgot to make a post about it.

@racelinewheels and @yokohamatire have this thing set up perfect now. Great stance, looks, and more importantly still handles great. And the traction off road in snow, mud, and sand is amazing. by @tawmy_boy
