Crazy to think my short film made it to a film festival. Thank you @bengalifilmfestival for featuring me. Thank you to my cast and crew for the patience and commitment. Thank you to my friends who checked in and encouraged me to keep pushing. First time on the big screen, hopefully not my last. Thank you all.

NISHIRDAAK Premiered to a sold out crowd.
Knicks won.
History was made.
Genuinely grateful for a blessed night. Thank you to everyone who came to support and make my silly lil dream come true. Special shout outs to cast and crew who will forever have my gratitude and love.

Thank you all and see you next time :) by @tawsifakber

And that’s a wrap on my first ever feature at an art show. I am eternally grateful for the love and support I have around me. Damn near cried like 7 times because of the love I felt. Thank you to my family for supporting me. Thank you to my friends for making the drive. Thank you to the artists for motivating me. Thank you to Brandon at @bythelotvintage for featuring me alongside some wildly talented artists who push boundaries on beauty, tactility, culture, and emotions. Everyone is an inspiration and I am grateful to be in a room alongside spectacular people. I could sit here and gush for hours. From posting my first ever YouTube video back in 2010 to having a room full of people watching my short film in 2025 is an unreal feeling. I love you all for making some time out of your busy lives to come celebrate this big step in my journey. Even if you joined the live stream, shared the flyers, got caught up last minute, or even shared words of encouragement, I am deeply appreciative. Thank you all for making this feel special. 🖤🖤 by @tawsifakber

Great wedding, great people.
The urge to make a grindset mindset reel because I wore a suit was too high.
They played FEIN and my glasses fell off, got trampled, and a lens popped out. RIP the wireframes. by @tawsifakber

Do you want to make a short film? Or maybe you want to level up your filmmaking skills.
I’ll be teaching 2 filmmaking classes this month.
Join me on September 12th at the @royalbengalmotorclub and friends where we’ll go over the whole filmmaking process. We will also go over potential blockers and how to navigate them. Class begins at 11:30 at the Myrtle Wombat.
On September 18th join me and the folks of @kufiproductions for a practical filmmaking workshop. The main focus is how to apply critiques to current and future projects. If you have something you’re working on, feel free to bring it over. This class starts at 6:30 at Studio 1418.

Free RSVP for the 12th and tickets for the 18th available in my bio.
