Officially a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church!!! The Lord has worked so beautifully in my life these last two years, and I am so excited to finally be confirmed! I can’t thank each one of these girls enough for pushing me to strive toward sainthood. Special thanks to @kelliefleming17 for always being patient with me, without you I would not be where I am today, and @brooke.michalak for being my sponsor and walking alongside me in this journey. Also extremely blessed with the most amazing and loving parents who have given me the greatest gift of all, my Catholic faith. 🤍

a sappy i love kansas post

ku changed my life in a million ways, but here are some of my favorite moments/lessons i learned along the way

1. the Lord works in mysterious ways, for me it was bringing me back to the faith through my sorority sisters which led to me joining RCIA and becoming a fully initiated member of the Catholic church.

2. finding out sport management is in fact a legitimate degree which led to me working the nfl draft, working for a power 4 university’s athletic department, multiple big 12 and ncaa championship events, and endless other incredible opportunities.

3. mindset is everything. i learned to embrace discomfort and that i am capable of doing hard things and can do what used to seem impossible like running 5 half marathons + training for a marathon all while juggling a crazy college schedule.

4. meeting the grandson of Phog Allen (the father of basketball coaching) and becoming a 2x recipient of the scholarship honoring his legacy.

5. pray and ask in abundance!! i used to pray for one good Catholic friend, and the Lord blessed me with too many to count!

6. volunteering with strong girls and mentoring young girls in the community. time given to others is never wasted.

7. leading the best girls ever in a Bible study. their openness, honesty, and curiosity is so deeply inspiring.

8. attending some of the best sporting events of my life.
from throwing goal posts in potter lake to taking down number one seeded teams in the cathedral of college basketball.

9. being surrounded by the best friends and mentors. the people you surround yourself with will make or break you so choose good people.

10. you can truly do anything you set your mind to, never let anyone make you believe anything different and never settle for mediocrity.
