Hey everyone - I'm moving!

I've been pretty distant from social media for quite a while now, so I never made a big announcement about this. Whoops.

I am moving to Courtenay BC - I actually just boarded the ferry. I am transferring to a similar position at the MCFD office in Courtenay.

The beautiful @hobin12 is still in Kamloops, unfortunately the timeline of this position meant I had to move before we sell the house.

But I will be back periodically over the coming months until the house is sold hopefully sometime in the spring.

We had the pleasure of attending @lemissaa and her partner Brandon's beautiful wedding this past weekend, and now I have the pleasure of sharing these photos of me and Hailey on our anniversary.

Happy Anniversary Hailey. This year has been the darkest and most difficult time I have ever experienced in my entire life. I couldn't do this without you. I feel so lucky and grateful to have you by my side, even when you fail miserably at speaking the English language (daily). I love you so completely. I can't conceptualize my life without you. by @tay.mccallum

Many of you know that I've had a lot of issues with my teeth over the past several years. I've finally found a dentist who understands my dental anxiety and has been very good to me, so shout-out to @drcindynagel for giving me the courage to smile with my teeth in photos again.⁣⁣

Took this super edgy photo in my car yesterday. This pandemic has sucked the life out of me and is a terrible time for mental health. I hope you're taking care of yours better then I am of mine! Been working mostly home for about two months, but that ends on Tuesday. But I'm still here! This picture is the wallpaper of my work computer - it's such an great reminder of the amazing people I have in my life, and the art I am so privileged to create with these amazing humans. There are some faces in this photo who are gone now, and others that are missing from it, but I'm so happy to have the pleasure of being a part of this amazing group with all of you. To the Slips new and old, thank you for being a part of this wild adventure.

The first show of our long form D&D season starts tomorrow. It's such a cool and unique form and I hope you all get a chance to see it.

I can't explain how fortunate I am to get to create art that I love with people who I adore with @slipsfreudian. Tonight was a hell of a night - thank you to @wyattpurchaisdangerous and @melissa.purcha for stepping up and trying something crazy with us for this last D&D show.
I wouldn't want to be spending my weekends any other way. To all of the Slips, both the ones in this picture and those who aren't, thanks for going on this crazy adventure. I'm loving every minute of it. Even the stressful ones. taken in The Stage House Theatre by @tay.mccallum

I've been hard at work as the producer of #hydrafestyka and A Slip in Time, The Freudian Slips latest project which was written and created by yours truly. It would mean a lot to me if you came out to see us, or one of the other 10 incredible shows at the Hydra Festival over the next 2 weekends.

There are two great powers in this world - the audience, and the dice. Dungeons & Dragons unites with long-form improv in this raucous medieval adventure. Join The Freudian Slips at the Hydra Festival for a unique improv experience where the roll of a 1 can change a whole show.

A Slip in Time is The Freudian Slips latest foray into the world of improv, set on the backdrop of the Hydra Performing Arts Festival. A terrible monster threatens the kingdom of Kamloops, and four unlikely heroes will be faced with many threats on their path to stop it - even that of time itself. Join our party of adventurers as they journey to find the artifacts that will allow them to defeat such a beast.

A Slip in Time in a UNIQUE improvised theatre experience - our performances follow a similar format from show to show, but each adventure is it's own unique experience that unfolds based on the ask-fors from the audience, the creativity of our improvisers and dungeon master, and of course, the luck of the dice.

Join us May 25th at 12:30pm, May 30th at 8:15pm, and May 31st at 9:15 at the Actor's Workshop Theatre!
