You may have heard the news already... @YakultSingapore Orange 🍊 is making way for a new flavour (Peach 🍑), after 46 long years!#GeralynGui and Ma were among the first to taste this new flavour, thanks to @popmediasingapore for the invite for a media preview and first-launch of the new product via a Yakult Factory Tour. Used to bring #SharilynGui on Yakult Factory Tours, but this seemed to be the first time that Ma learnt a lot more fun facts, enjoying it as much as #GeralynGui, who was visiting for the first time. First time knowing that different countries have different Yakult flavours, and that Singapore's exclusive flavours are Grape 🍇 (most popular after Original), Green Apple 🍏, Orange 🍊 (least popular, and sadly have to make way for a new flavour due to plant limitations).Also, it sounded "kiasu" (Ha! Ha!) that our Uniquely Yakult Singapore bottles are the biggest size - 100ml vs 65ml for those made in Japan and 80ml for those made in USA. #GeralynGui and #SkylerGui, who had the opportunity to taste the NEW Peach Flavour, love the refreshing and fruity taste. It's Geralyn's favourite flavour now, while Skyler and Ma can't decide if Peach or Grape will be our top favourite. Happy Fathers' Day to the Pa of 3 Big Kids #SharilynGui #GeralynGui and #SkylerGui@ Sunday 21 June 2026.Spent the day at @MandaiWildlifeReserve River Wonders from 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m., then driving to @MarinaSquareSG @AstonsSG ASTONS Steak & Salad @ Marina Square, for the kids' favourite buffet from 3.00 p.m. to 5.40 p.m. Definitely NOT Pa's kind of "celebration" (He'd rather have his me time and rest time for the day, especially when he hasn't been feeling well since he returned from his school / work trip and the "stress" of school reopening (having to go back to work tomorrow already) is super real (Ma knows it, so she's reluctant to find work actively).As the weather forecast showed that there will be rain from 2pm to 5pm (closing time 6pm) at Mandai, we decided to cancel Wushu Private Training from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., so as to hit River Wonders at the Opening Time of 9 a.m. and complete what we planned, before the rain comes and time for late lunch.On our Agenda: We left home half an hour late, as the kids were busy enjoying Bak Chang 肉粽 for breakfast, while watching repeat telecast of Mediacorp Channel 8 Drama, so we arrived at 9.30 a.m. instead.9 a.m. (became 9.30 a.m.) : Arrival; Family Photos; A̶m̶a̶z̶o̶n̶ ̶F̶l̶o̶o̶d̶e̶d̶ ̶F̶o̶r̶e̶s̶t̶ ̶(̶u̶n̶s̶h̶e̶l̶t̶e̶r̶e̶d̶)̶10 a.m. : Amazon River Quest #SkylerGui’s favourite part of his multiple River Wonders Visits was riding on the boat in the front seat, getting wet from the splashing waters (he packed a towel for himself on his own initiative but today's splashing wasn't too wet) at least 3 rounds (he said must make the $5 for each ticket more worth it).11.30 a.m. Once Upon A River Presentaion (Booking & Reservation of Seats is required, 2 hours before each presentation). Ma and Skyler volunteered as Adult Volunteers and Child Volunteer in the previous visit. Our first playdate with Wushu friend, Shao Wei, and family, iniated by @kkiannen, on Friday 19 June 2026.9 a.m. to 10 a.m.Squash For All Squash Try-Outs at Yio Chu Kang Squash Centre.The kids were separated into 2 different courts though.@marigold.sg Milk and Juices were provided, self-serviced. Goodies Bag was given to each participant.11 a.m. to 12.55 p.m.Playground Fun at Propnex Family Zone at @GardensByTheBay1.50 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.Lunch at @mcdsg McDonald's Kallang (Stadium).The adults tried the NEW Honey Soy Chicken McCrispy® (2pc) Meal; while #SkylerGui tried the NEW Sweet BBQ McSpicy® Chicken Bacon Meal2.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.#GeralynGui took 3 younger kids over to @decathlonsg to cycle, and they coincidentally met another Wushu friend buying bicycle there. 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.Shao Wei and sisters had Flips and Jumps Class with Coach Alvin, while #SkylerGui and #GeralynGui went to SPARKLE to buy socks, as 3 of them were drenched (on purpose) by the "fountain" when "watering of the gŊrass area" job was done. 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.Skyler's and Geralyn's turn for Flips and Jumps Class with Coach Alvin. End of Playdate too. Thank You @kkiannen for initiating this playdate; driving us around; and offering us (very yummy) Dumplings (Bak Zhang or 肉粽) made by his in-laws for Dumpling Festival / Dragon Boat Festival (端午节) yesterday.Looking forward to the next playdate and more. P/S: We adults were busy chatting and missed out many videos / photos of the children playing with one another. Some pics / videos were taken by @gerry62705.and WhatsApp-ed to Ma.
