STANDING STILL IS OUT NOW!!! 🤍🌾

God has a funny way of reminding me that while I’m busy chasing what’s next, I’m often already living in the middle of prayers I once prayed.

“Standing Still” came from my very first session with @jakeohlbaum and @notellemusic —shoutout to @bobsquance for setting it up!! This song has been one of my favorites since the day we wrote it, and I’ve pretty much been ready to release it ever since. 🤸🏼

Thank you to every single person who helped bring this song to life. I’m endlessly grateful for your talent and for the care you poured into it. I mean, even the demo stayed on repeat for months!

So catch me dancing to this song and romanticizing my life until further notice! Because even if we’re not exactly where we thought we’d be by now, or it doesn’t look like we thought it would, there’s still a whole lot to love about where we are. 🤍🌾

SCENIC ROUTE IS OUT NOW!!! 🚗🗺️💘🌅⭐️

After taking the long way ’round, I picked up some really incredible friends along the way who helped me create some of my favorite music to date—and a few others who’ve been riding shotgun since the very beginning. From writing this song with @notellemusic and @jakeohlbaum to bringing it to life in the studio, it felt surreal to hear something I didn’t even know I was searching for finally find its way home.

A huge thank you to all of the talented players who helped bring this song to life, and to @steveford995 , @kimpenz, and @ladylucksongs for believing in me, and helping guide me here. God has blessed me with some amazing people in my corner, and I’m so grateful for every mile (even detour) that led me here!! (Just missing you, Ervine!!)

Now go roll the windows down, take a backroad the long way home, turn this one up, and remember—there’s no harm in cruising a little. :)
