We lost my aunt today… Half of my favorite set of twins, my bonus mom, always the best dressed in any room, and truly one of a kind.

She fought cancer with everything she had; fierce and full of fire until the very end. She was bold and brilliant and loved with her whole heart. Loud, loyal, and full of sparkle. The kind of woman who left her stamp on the world just by being herself.

I’m so grateful for the time we had together this summer. Soaking up the sun was her absolute favorite thing to do (other than shopping). But I thought we had more time…

She’s been there for everything. I don’t know what life looks like without her. I miss her already. 💔 by @taylor.sustersic

For 12 years, Benny gave me unconditional love, laughter, and loyalty. I’m so grateful for every moment we shared.

I’ll miss him running to the door to welcome me home, sitting by my side for every meal, howling with the tornado siren each month.

I’ll miss our rituals, our quiet moments, giving him the butt scratches he loved so much, and the way he always knew when I needed a cuddle.

I know he’s with his brother now, reunited and making up for lost time.
