This past week, I had the incredible blessing of attending UTC, and it truly transformed my relationship with Christ. I was confronted with idols I had long ignored— my physical abilities and my pride.God asked me: How can you claim to lean on Me when you’re relying entirely on your own strength? And why are you so prideful that you only give Me glory in success, but not in failure? I had convinced myself I was giving God the glory, but deep down, I still wanted some recognition for my own hard work. When I failed, I didn’t point to Him, because I was still holding onto the idea that it was all about me.Eventually, I reached a place where I had no strength left to rely on, physically or emotionally. My pride had no ground to stand on. I wasn’t in control anymore, God was. He carried me through every challenge, and I had no choice but to fully surrender. My truth this week was simple and life-changing: I am forgiven. God washed me clean of all guilt and shame. Thank You, Jesus, for never stopping Your pursuit of me.In the lowest moments, I was surrounded by a team who faithfully prayed with me and reminded me to fix my eyes on Christ, not on my shortcomings. These brothers and sisters in Christ constantly pointed me back to God. TEAM 17💜The funny thing is that it was the most refreshing thing I’ve done in years because I wasn’t striving for recognition or to prove anything. I was doing it all for an Audience of One.This week wasn’t about what I could do.It was about what God did.I could only—because GOD DID. by @taylor_ensley

I want to bring attention to college athletes and Mental Health. As an athlete, we are supposed to be strong and be able to push through anything. Mental health is not a joke in any way. Anxiety and depression can creep in and try to take you over quickly. Athletes, myself included, that struggle with this try to put on a smile but it hurts. We are hurting constantly but we put on a smile and a happy persona to keep others around us happy. When in reality if someone asked us how we really felt we would be holding back tears to keep in all the sadness we feel. At some points, you can’t sleep with everything going on in your head. You can’t even get out of bed in the morning. You cry for no reason and then get upset with yourself for being ungrateful for everything God has given you. This has been me for months and the only thing that gets me out of bed every day is knowing I GET to see my favorite people in the world, my teammates and coaches. You don’t get it until you go through it. Your heart hurts every day and you don’t know how to get out of whatever this is. I thought I could get through this with no help, just me vs. me. Anxiety and depression had almost beat me until I reached out for help. You aren’t weak for asking for help, it is courage and strength. If this is you, I promise it will get better. You might think you are broken but God will pick up the pieces and put you back together saying “Everything is going to be fine, I love you no matter what my child.” USE YOUR PSYCHOLOGIST! REACH OUT FOR HELP! Mental health is a thing, and it’s something that can consume you if you don’t get help. Ask your teammates how they are doing because you never know who is truly struggling with mental health. by @taylor_ensley

A couple weeks ago, we had the sweetest privilege of celebrating two of our best friends as they became husband and wife 🤍Watching Teagan and Owen say “I do” was such a blessing, and I’m so thankful Andrew and I got to be a small part of their special day. It has been so special watching their relationship grow, and seeing God’s faithfulness throughout their story. So grateful for the memories, the laughter, and the chance to celebrate such amazing friends. Praying for a lifetime of love and joy as they begin this new chapter together🩷 by @taylor_ensley

Today was the last time I got to step on the field with my sister. You were always my favorite part about NC State and I looked forward to seeing you at practice every single day. It hurts knowing that I won’t have you by my side in the outfield the next two years. Growing up, you always pushed me to be better and set the standard for the player I wanted to be. I am so proud of you and just grateful that I got the chance to play with you❤️ @taylor_ensley by @taylor_ensley

Thank you Jesus, for changing my outlook on softball. When I found my identity in Christ, it allowed me to play with a freedom. A freedom from the fear of failure, fear of my outcome, and fear of what others think about me. Softball is not who I am, it’s something I do. My Promised Land is God and His presence, not softball and the accolades. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭ by @taylor_ensley

Thank you, Jesus, for being with me through every step of the past four years. Thank you, God, for placing this dream in my heart and allowing me to live it out. And to all my teammates over the years—thank you for loving me, challenging me, and pushing me to be my best every single day! Let every breath I breathe praise the Lord and everything I’ve done point to Jesus!!! by @taylor_ensley
