Cara and I end the summer off with 8th in the low child/adult classic out of 27 with a first round score of 82 and 4th in the Bit O’ Straw Classic at Vermont this weekend🥰

I am so extremely grateful to have started my adult career with such a talented and special horse, and can’t thank the Kinney family enough for trusting me ❤️. Thank you to @risingstarequestriancenter for another amazing summer taken in Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show by @taylorchen_31

Cara blew me away this weekend having our best show together yet! She topped the $1500 child/adult derby out of almost 50 entries!! She then swept all of our over fences classes in the low adult eq and the low adult amateur hunters, and was 2nd in both respective flats to take home champion in both divisions in great company💙 Thank you @risingstarequestriancenter for such a great weekend, and @elizabethk.eq for trusting me with your girl taken in Fieldstone Show Park by @taylorchen_31

Cara was amazing this past Saturday taking home champion in the child/adult 2’3 hunters (winning 2/3 over fences and 2nd in the hack!) out of a large group, and was perfect our first time on the grass 🥰❤️ so much love for @risingstarequestriancenter and @elizabethk.eq for making this possible!! taken in Fieldstone Show Park by @taylorchen_31

So grateful to @elizabethk.eq for sharing your girl with me, to @risingstarequestriancenter for another great show, and ofc @julievanderklish for all your support ❤️ taken in Hits-on-the-Hudson by @taylorchen_31

Orleans blew me away this past week, placing in every open age equitation class of our section with a 5th and 6th over fences and 7th in the flat out of 32. We then went on to have an almost perfect round in the final, with a rider error to the last fence to keep us from the top. Nevertheless, I’m so grateful for the @risingstarequestriancenter team, my parents, and of course Ozzy, for getting me here and supporting me especially after almost deciding to not do finals all together this year.

With my last show as a junior over, I am sad to close this chapter but am so happy to have had the best experiences and opportunities over these short, six years. I am eternally in debt to Ozzy for being the best partner, teacher, and friend, and I am so lucky to have had the ability to call such a special horse mine to round out my junior career. taken in Kentucky National Horse Show by @taylorchen_31

The amount of gratitude I have for this horse and the team behind us is immeasurable. Orleans took me around my first national final as if he had done it a million times, never once batting an eye. We were able to earn 8th in a competitive 16-17 flat, and laid down a beautiful round for the final. Not enough thank yous to the whole @risingstarequestriancenter team and @alli_healy for all of your help and support this week, and of course to my parents for getting me here. Onto the last! 🧡🧡 taken in Kentucky National Horse Show by @taylorchen_31
