For those of you who don’t know I had a seizure with Easton in the car and we had a rollover/ flipped into a ditch on Tuesday. Long story short Easton and I are OK.Also Jamie Torrence thank you for being there for Easton when you saw him…my sister and I can’t thank you enough 🫶🙏Also this was my first time having a seizure.. and had another one in the hospital.. I don’t have epilepsy. I had a non-epileptic seizure and have a propensity for seizures the EKG and EEG said.Edit - ✍️ I was diagnosed with “NES” ( non epileptic seizures ) thankfully with my medication I have been perfectly fine 🙏 just keep the prayers coming always please 🙏 #oneyearlater #ThankYouLord #GodsPlan #Godslove #Godstiming #seizuresawareness #epilepsyawareness by @taylorcolvard

Yesterday I went to therapy, and we’re working on my anger management, communication skills, and impulsivity. I also got a journal because sometimes I need to get my thoughts out before reacting to them.

One thing I’m learning about myself is how good I am at masking. I can show up, smile, laugh, make jokes, and act like everything is perfectly fine when inside I’m struggling to hold it all together.

And I know I’m not the only one.

Sometimes we get so good at pretending we’re okay that even the people closest to us have no idea how much we’re carrying. We go to therapy and say “I’m fine” when we’re anything but. We keep pushing through because that’s what we’ve always done.

But I’m learning that healing means being honest with myself, even when it’s uncomfortable. It means learning to communicate instead of reacting, to pause instead of acting on impulse, and to let myself feel things without pretending they don’t exist.

I’m not perfect. I’m a work in progress. And I’m proud of myself for showing up, doing the work, and choosing to grow.

If you’re the person who always says “I’m fine” even when you’re not, this is your reminder that you don’t have to keep pretending. You deserve support, too. ❤️ #healingjourney #selfcareisntselfish #selfcare #taylorjewel #mentalhealthmatters by @taylorcolvard
