Little Foot is 🎈 10 months old 🎈 today!!
He can crawl up a storm, pull himself up, and crab walk side ways holding on to the furniture. 😆 He wants to stand up and go SO bad! 🤏🏻so close!

He can cry mama sometimes, but his first official word was two nights ago in the bathtub- he said “BALL,” more like “Baaulll,” and it was the cutest thing my ears have ever heard.
He is a fan of most all foods still minus feta cheese and gerber puffs, 😂 and lord do not have a drink around this baby cause he’s gonna want it.
He smacks his bouncy ball around the living room and chases it, loves pushing his trucks, and spinning any wheels. 🛞
I feel like a little boy has replaced my tiny little babe. 😭😭🤧

I’m probably late to this party but 🫣🤔🤯
This one was so good! Kept me guessing throughout the whole book. Many POVs which got confusing at first but all in all I thought it was a good book.

The audiobook is great because the narrators are in the characters accents and the way they capture Fiona is just 👩‍🍳 🤌🏻 perfection! If you liked The Lost Apothacary by the same author you’ll like this one as well! Similar vibes with the back and forth historical chapters and characters. I found the story interesting and zoomed through the audiobook! There is deep sea diving, treasure hunting, sea witches, curses, magic, and a cool setting off the coast of Naples. WHEN I SAY I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT for the last 30 minuets of the book.🫢🫣😮

TJR is one of my all time favorite authors. With the exception of 7 husbands, i love all of her books! But this one is probaly my new fav 😌🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

Under Her Care by Lucinda Berry

Lucinda is Queen of writing books about taboo subject matter- but this! 🫢🫢 😲
Justice for Mason first and foremost cause that was just ughhh brutal🤐 no spoilers but his character is probably one of the saddest fictional characters I’ve ever read. 😪 maybe it’s just my new mom hormones .

The mayors wife is murdered in the park. An autistic teenager (Mason) ran from his mom and was found near the body- and now the main suspect. The police team up with a local woman (Kasey) who specializes working with autistic children to try to get him to open up and talk about what happened.
POV goes back and forth between the mom( Geniveve) and Kasey. I will say I got a little lost in some parts of the book that’s why it’s three stars. After such an extreme reveal- the ending was kinda just meh. To me it was kinda obvious who was behind the murder although they make everyone seem suspect. There is a little 🤏🏻 twisty twist at the end but I barely felt it mattered at that point. 😅 i definitely liked The Perfect Child and Saving Noah better. Wow 🫢😲
This was such a crazy book. I went from rage to disbelief pretty much the entire book. I could not get away from it once I started it. I just had to know what would happen next.
A couple takes in a little girl with child abuse syndrome, and some parts were disturbing for sure, but as the story unfolds you’ll find yourself picking ur jaw up off the floor. Almost everyone involved has a shocking role in the story I would say. 10/10 recommend this one if you’re into psychological dramas! This book was a roller coaster 😲🥴😧🫣🫢
At first I was like this is so not for me and was going to not finish. It changes POVs between four different people and was a little hard to follow. But then it took a turn and I had to finish it. The whole story is SO disturbing I just had to get to the end in hopes for a happy ending. I won’t spoil it for yall but if you start it- you gotta finish it. 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
I was recommended to read this after The Nightingale and I can see why. The story is truly touching and the ending will definitely make you bawl your eyes out. The only thing I didn’t like was how the past was told through storytelling and sometimes seemed to drag on and on, I preferred the back and forth timelines like in The Nightingale. I could see this being SUCH a good movie though! The transition of the sister’s relationship, and the mom slowly opening up just squeezes all the parts in your heart. These are the feelings I’m seeking when reading a book and she gets me every time. They should really look into turning more Kristin Hannah books into movies as she is such an incredible storyteller. KH really makes you think about the people who survived this time in history and how resilient they were. This book was so sad 😞 I’ve seen it mentioned so much I had to dig in for myself. I’m currently pregnant with my first and it will be a boy, so reading this about a mother’s love for her son regardless of his imperfection was gut wrenching. 3/5 stars for me. The dad’s POV at the end was weird and felt thrown in there.
