the sport that has my heart forever

if y’all know me yall know that all star cheer will forever have my heart. i started at a small gym, spirit xplosion and found my love for cheer there. i cheered there for 9 years and then made the decision to move to cheer force. cf absolutely changed my life. my love for cheerleading grew so much because of cf. this gym gave me the absolute best 4 years of my life. i accomplished so many things little taylor never thought she could do. i am so grateful for all of the amazing coaches and friends that have become family.

this year was definitely different for me but it also taught me so much. it taught me that not everything is just handed to you, you have to work for it. it taught me not to give up even in the moments where i just felt like there was no point. this year i have grown so much as an athlete as well as a person. thank you to my coaches and teammates at slu for always pushing me to be a better athlete and always being there for me.

cheerleading has given me so many things to be grateful for, the family, the opportunities, the memories. this sport has defined me into the person i am today. although it has given me so much good and happiness, it has also given me the most heartbreak. so many things are just so unfair in the cheer world, but it made me stronger and want to work harder. i cannot thank every single one of my coaches enough for always believing in me and pushing me to be the best athlete i can be. i’m not sure what will happen in the future…but for now peace out to the sport the has given me the best 13 years of my life🤍 by @taylorrkarr
