Today we celebrate my favorite person on earth!

This man is a true soldier in every sense. He fights for our family. He fights for the vulnerable. He informs the misinformed. And he fought for a country that barely fights for him yet he still carries himself with class, humor, and a joy I rarely see in anyone else.

My family lights up when they see him. They love him deeply, and it fills me with pride every single time. I cry thinking about how much my mommy would’ve loved him. Watching him correct and hold me accountable🥹

Today we honor a selfless, strong, intelligent, reliable man.
Today we celebrate the one who leads with love, protects with purpose, and shows up with consistency.

I knew I loved you from the moment I saw you. I didn’t know you would be my wife, I just knew I needed you in my life. I was willing to accept whatever part of you, you were willing to give… best friend, play sister, business partner, anything. I just knew I needed you.

For me, time froze in every little interaction, and as time passed, that feeling only grew stronger. It validated what I felt from the very beginning.

One of the reasons I love you is because you are exactly who I knew you were, sexy, kind-hearted, funny, ambitious, and smart. My very own Clair Huxtable.

Because of you, our son knows how a woman should carry herself. Our daughters know how powerful they can be. And as for me… you are exactly who I thought you were 😏 and I’m grateful for that every single day.

Here’s to another year of life. I hope you always know how loved and adored you are.

April is Autism Awareness Month and I’m finally ready to share this part of our story.
From around 18 months on, we were advocating and searching for answers for our sweet Autumn. In 2024, during the ninth month of my pregnancy, our baby girl officially received her autism diagnosis.🧩

That season was incredibly heavy. I was grieving not only her diagnosis, but also back to back personal losses. My grandad and my dad passed away just two weeks apart 💔😢all while I was caring for a newborn. My entire maternity leave with my youngest was spent advocating, coordinating care, and case managing for Autumn (which luckily, as a clinical Social worker I already was an expert in ..). Even still, it was exhausting, overwhelming, and honestly heartbreaking at times.
But through it all, I’ve come to realize that God trusted me with the honor of raising my baby girl into the greatness He already placed inside her. ✨
There are hard days. There are really good days. Luckily I was able to change jobs, leave the hospital and be more present w/ family. What matters most is that my smart, intelligent, energetic, flexible, hilarious girl has an incredible support system. Me, her dad, her big brother Jojo, and even her baby sister are all in this with her.🍂
This is a lifelong journey for our family. The worries don’t magically disappear, but I’m done being quiet and I’m done feeling any shame about this part of our life.
Here’s to years of advocacy, learning, growth, and understanding.

Still smiling from the magic we pulled off this weekend. For @Odotesq’s 35th birthday, we gave him the one thing he’s been craving most: quality time with his people.

On Saturday, his mom and siblings showed up on our doorstep… unexpected (see last video). His oldest brother Ruben kicked it off, and the very next day, Elijah and Ezekiel traveled from miles away just to be here for him.

My husband laughed, cried, danced, and soaked in every single second. The joy on his face made every ounce of planning worth it. Our kids got to play with their uncles, auntie, and grandmothers—and yes, all of his bonus mothers were in attendance too, making it even more special. Our home was filled with nothing but love, laughter, and legacy.

Right now, our cup is full. My eye has finally stopped twitching. I can breathe again… but I’d do it all over in a heartbeat.

To our friends and fam: now you know why I’ve been MIA. Me and my sis Tiff @therndoncambers have been holding onto this secret for weeks. He never saw it coming. Cheers to this type of love! #SurpriseSuccess #FamilyIsEverything by @taylorrwinterr

Happy Father’s Day to the man who’s been on the job for 9 years and still gets five stars every time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Father. Husband. Legend. And somehow… also the chef, coach, therapist, spiritual advisor, swim instructor, landscaper, comedian, and Master Chief of this household.

I’m in aww that God chose you to walk this life with me and to father our children. Your patience is biblical, your kindness is constant, and your love is SO LOUD.📢

You lead with grace, parent with joy, and somehow keep your inner child alive through it all.

We don’t take you for granted. You are our safe place, our laughter, our covering, and our calm. Thank you for showing up in every way that matters.
