2026 Confluence Carolinas was one for the books! 🎶

It gets better every year, and as someone born and raised in Charlotte, it’s an honor to play a small part in growing our city’s and region’s creative arts scene. When I started in the industry 15+ years ago, there weren’t many local opportunities to learn the business side of music. If there were, I sure wasn’t aware of them.

Big thanks to @rthurmond for keeping the momentum going. Because of his persistence and vision, anyone pursuing a music career, whether on the creator or business side, now has an annual opportunity right here in the Carolinas to network, share experiences, and learn from other creators and industry professionals.

Also big shoutout to the rest of the conference programming committee @esbrigham @caseytheincredible @thatsbrandont @markeckert for putting in the work to curate the content and speakers! If not for their time, energy, and heart they poured into making this happen, it wouldn’t be possible.

Thank you also to all the speakers that participated and shared some knowledge, and to everyone who showed up, asked great questions, and made new connections: you are what makes this event special.

Already looking forward to next year! 🙌
