the dissolution of the physical body. the movement caught by the camera: light that burns leave a trace. the stain, glitch, the carcass that involves the soul. the body as a site for investigation and discovery. dissolution in the name of integration.

a cultura dos encontros românticos e dos aplicativos de ~paquera pode ser líquida&rápida, mas também gera histórias engraçadas e, por vezes, completamente desastrosas. e foi exatamente assim que @jessie______james e eu nos conhecemos há um ano, conversando sobre as coisas escandalosamente divertidas que já ouvimos de homens (cara-a-cara), em primeiros encontros. a partir disso, criamos o @__flirtingwithdisaster__, um projeto que está em constante processo porque, como vocês sabem...... o material simplesmente flui. 🤪🙃

parece muito com você, 2022

photograph of two portraits: one it's me at age 2, the other is my mom at age 1. in this picture, past, past and present are intertwined. there's coalescence in this heterogeneity, one that nobody can really discern. i wrote extensively about this in my master thesis, linking this phenomenon to deleuze's concept of crystal-image. it's far less intelectual than it looks. what i tried to do was to write about photography the way i believe it to be: the camera as a time machine, the recollections as stories of where we come from, and what that makes us. i'm more inclined to whatever a picture brings out in me, than to know which lights were used. i love images that look like dreams.

"ela é linda, parece" translates to "she's beautiful, it seems" and it's actually half a sentence of a letter my mom got from a high school friend of hers, when i was just born. i shared the original letter in a post at another instagram page i have. you can see it in my stories, here. ;)

playing around with rgb lights, an amazing fuji gfx ii and some sunlight (my favorite thing will be always to follow the sun).

it's honestly a pleasure to edit photos taken with a fuji. i must say i was impressed. by @taylunar

Inspired by encounters with people on the margins of society; a dissection of trauma and revival, pain and transformation. In a devotional setting of sinister rituals and acts of liberation, Madonna and Jesus appear as trash prophets. Surrounded by Paradise-Lost-iconography they deliver prayers for the outcasts and blessings for queer bodies. After their 2018 success with Baby Paradise, provocative German @bambule.babys is returning to the Fringe with its new production. Alluding to feminist philosophy and politics of care, this is a piece dedicated to all those homesick for a better world. by @taylunar
