When we first found out we were cousins, I couldn’t stand you. You found out your membean score was higher than mine and told me I wasn’t smart enough to be your cousin and I got mad asf LMAOOO. We were joint at the hip immediately after. We did everything together , back to school shopping, out to eat, you took me to tag along with you and your friends on a random day, you helped me learn how to drive, taught me how to hustle, fixed my breaks, changed my tires, sat on FT and helped me get fly before school, we shared a locker, had a finsta together, you let me dye your hair so we could have matching colors, you let me practice braiding your hair and it took me like 7 hours, you even let me borrow some of your fly sh!t , took me to parties, came to my birthdays, you even had me sitting at the studio before lmao, the list goes on and on. Anytime I was out having a blast, I was with you!!

God snapped putting us together, you is one of the best things that ever happened to me. The advice, the support, the jokes, the arguments, I’d do anything to get that back twin. You my cousin, uncle, and brother all in one.

My heart so hurt, idk how I’m supposed to keep pushing. Through thick and thin, we had each other. I’m so proud of you, you finished school and was reaching all your goals. You had real plans, you was built different, hard body at all times. The world will never see another like you gangsta, the most distinct laugh and the warmest smile, the biggest heart, the strongest soldier.

Little Blay Tay is in shambles rn but it’s all good, I know you’ll come visit me when you get back from Cuba, at least that’s what I tell myself. You just gotta take a vacation and then when you get back we can be outsideeee !!!!

Crazy to think that I was a research assistant for the PASS Lab at Virginia State University. Never thought I’d be interested in conducting research, or even be good at it, but the lab gave me the opportunity to flourish. That timid little girl grew into a confident young lady 🦋I built connections with Psychologists from across the world, presented MY research at different conferences, and got the chance to be a member of the Honors Summer Undergraduate Research Program cohort at Virginia Commonwealth University. In a day and some changeeeee, I’ll be GRADUATING from THEE ILLUSTRIOUS Virginia State University 👩🏾‍🎓🕺

* Moral of the story, NEVER count yourself out. ALWAYS take that leap of faith.
