Happy Halloween pt 1!!! Yall ainā€™t ready for my granny costume by @taystewxo
This audiošŸ„¹ that little girl has been through so much I lost my mom to a drinking/driving accident that happened when I was 2. She was unresponsive and in a coma until I was 9, when she passed away. It was just me and my dad now. Growing up, my dad coped with alcohol. And it was rough ngl. The older I get, the more I realize how much he sacrificed for me. I couldnā€™t imagine how Iā€™d act or the vices Iā€™d choose if this were to happen to me, but I didnā€™t always see it that way always. I worked 3 jobs in college to support my dad and I because he wasnā€™t working at that time. Barista, cleaned my church, and a server in a Mediterranean restaurant that turned into a hookah bar at night. Started this IG around that time too. I worked HARD. And I am proud to say that Iā€™m the first in my family to graduate HIGHSCHOOL ā€” let alone get a bachelors degree. I have two with honors in both. I graduated nursing school with a 3.9 GPA (and ya, this was before chatGPT lol) I moved from my hometown not once but TWICE. Never really had a plan B to lean on. Never really felt financially supported by anyone in my family. Iā€™ve always had this ā€œeither you do it.. or it wonā€™t get doneā€ mindset because thatā€™s just how it was growing up. That little girl went thru A LOT, and this was such a good reminder that you need to talk to yourself nicer. That little kid is still in me. Itā€™s still in all of us. ā™„ļø I know sheā€™s proud of me. This post was the perfect reminder to sit back and remember all that youā€™ve done. by @taystewxo

My life motto since making the move to Florida šŸ’› by @taystewxo
Wellll guys another long caption but I got a life update: itā€™s official! Iā€™ve signed my lease in St Pete and couldnā€™t be more excited for this opportunity granted to me. I do believe everything happens for a reason. Ngl Iā€™ve wanted to live here since before I moved to DC. Life happened and thatā€™s how I ended up there.. and same with the transition to Florida! If you care, read below.. To be transparent, Iā€™ve been unemployed and living off my savings since Feb 2026. These past couple months Iā€™d say have been my lowest. Feeling lost with no real direction in life, stressed about the future, and really digging deep to believe in myself and take the leap. I told myself to trust God and apply to both DC and FL & see what happens. I hate to sound sappy ā€” but bruh I couldnā€™t have asked for a better turn out šŸ˜© not only is my move to Florida completely free (hospital relocation bonus) BUT the apartment I found.. and LOVEEE.. is offering 2 months free and $400 under my budget. 10 mins from beach and 10 mins from downtown/work. And everything I ever coulda dreamed of! I start work June 22nd and the two months freee will replenish a pretty good amount of my savings Iā€™ve went through. Ainā€™t it weird how life works out?! Guys if life feels like itā€™s pushing you down, do not give up on yourself. Iā€™m so ready for this new adventure šŸŒ“ & thank you all for your support throughout the years. Truly! I couldnā€™t do this without yall!!!! Wish me luck bbšŸ¤žšŸ½ Until then ā€” flight back to DC to say goodbye to everyone Iā€™ve met and to pack. Come June 2026, you can consider me a FLORIDA RESIDENT BABBBYYYYY by @taystewxo
