I drove past the place where you took your last breath yesterday and the memory flooded back. I’m going to the church where your wake was held and your grave where you lay your head today. Being with our family today made me feel whole but a piece was still missing. You. Your smile that lights up a room, your laugh that was always true and loud, your presents that brought everyone happiness. I miss your voice dad. I miss everything about you. I miss you. I wish everyday you were here and i could give you one last hug and tell you how much I love you. I was the last person you spoke to and still i need a million more times to tell you i love you. I hope you are proud of me. That’s all i can do. Hope. I pray everyday you are. I surprised our family in Ohio and felt your presents through everyone. No one has forgotten about you and everyone still talks about you every chance they get. I wish everyday you’d walk through the door and hug me. Today we celebrate you. Tears will be shed but your legacy will be honored. I love you forever and always daddy. Happy father’s day❤️ by @taythomasss
