I was looking through some old pictures when I came across my mother in one of her most memorable looks. I knew I had to recreate it because it was a look then, and it certainly still is one today. I still remember going shopping with her to the village to find an outfit for her to wear to a party she was going to that night (where my bad habit of buying a new outfit for every event came from 🤦🏾‍♀️). I also remember saying, “mommy this is too much”, when she asked me what I thought. She bought it anyway. Thank goodness she didn’t listen to a seven year old that day.
