I had a great day at the Education Day of the Hill for my second time being at the Capitol with EDTrust. It was nice talking about Diversity Equity Inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities and programs like Special Olympics. Thank you to the Senator and Representatives I meet with today: @senatorsarakyle Senator Heidi Campbell, representative Gabby salinas and Representative Torrey Harris. I had a fun and educational week at Texas Longhorns Swim Camp. It was nice meeting new swimmers that were from different states. I meet world renown swim coach @coach_bowman and several Texas Olympians @emmastickl @annaelendt that lead stroke sessions. I had a great roommate @del.8093 that took photos for me when I didn’t have my phone. I had a great experience, worked hard on every set and learned new ways to practice. Last week at the Williamson Indoor Sports Complex. I dropped time on every one of my events, made five finals, and won two Heats. The most time I dropped was in the 400 IM with eleven seconds in one month! This shows that hard work in and out of the pool makes you better in performance. Last week I competed in my last long course meet in the University of Memphis recreation center! @emma.c.hood was one of my teammates that got a southeastern cut so congratulations to her! I managed to final 4 out of 8 of my events! I didn’t feel happy of how I performed in this meet, but I’ll let this meet motivate me to get better mentally and physically! Last week I went to Axis Conference 2026! I loved that I learned about Christ and met a lot of people who followed Christ! Sadly red team didn’t win tribal wars this year, but congratulations on blue team on winning Tribal Wars! I thank God that I went to Axis Conference this year! Last week I traveled to Detroit, Michigan to swim at the University of Michigan for their swim camp! I did the intensity track and went through a lot of hard practices. After the camp was over I was given a goodie bag and rewarded a lanyard for doing all the optional practices! This was a fun and tuff camp to go to. I’ve met a lot of people and learned a lot of skills! I hope I find a swim camp that’s just as good as Michigan and Texas! #michigan #swimcamp #universityofmichigan #blessed taken in Donald B. Today I went to the Tupelo Aquatic Center for a swim meet! I was able to drop time in 2 out of 3 events in the 200 Freestyle and in the 100 breaststroke. I did well managing my mental and my inflammation In my nose in this swim meet! Even though I had inflammation in my nose, I managed to drop 7 seconds off my seed time in my 200 Breaststroke and drop on my 100 breaststroke. Today I went to the University of Arkansas swim meet! I had fun time swimming there and had a great opportunity to learn about college swim pools. I was focused on not being too hard on myself when I did a bad result.
