Hyrox World Championships 2026 - Stockholm Edition 🇸🇪 🌍

The feeling of standing on the start line with the world's best is truly incredible. Had the opportunity to race both solo and doubles with the best partner @garethgriffithshk 🙌 Not everything always goes to plan but sometimes the unplanned becomes the best plan.

I love how Hyrox brings people together. Competing is one thing, but the real memories come from the moments in between ❤️ taken in Strawberry Arena by @tazthorne

May - hem! Post-Two Oceans straight into @primal.race with @stani.tomasz! Can't wait to pair up again and have another crack at it! Will never forget how good that @primalpower_nutrition_ppn tasted at the finish line!

Next, @hyroxhk for a fantastic weekend of doubles with @garethgriffithshk and the relay with the fabulous kindy teacher crew @amanda_kindifun @shobs167 @sammies852 😍 Yes, ladies we're doing it again!

Wrapping up with my all time favourite, Hyrox Shanghai - the homeground of my first pro solo race! Tough racing solo again, but loved it!

Two Oceans Ultramarathon 2026 🇿🇦

Running this race has been a dream since I was young—ever since my dad ran it back in 1993. For South Africans, the @totalsportstwooceansmarathon is an iconic race, and to finally stand on that same start line was surreal. The whole experience has been nothing short of incredible.

From months of training—running up and down the same road in Pok Fu Lam, battling gale-force winds on treacherous Chappies Doubles with Dean Thorne, and countless hours with @carlmarks_power and the team at @tribalfitnesshk —I simply could not have done this without them. Their guidance, discipline, and belief in me made all the difference.

The build-up was just as special: meeting runners from around the world at the International Friendship Run and catching up pre-race with the amazing @jadelongano who absolutely smashed it!

Race day began at 3am with my dad by my side, tea in hand, watching Artemis II landing whilst helping me prep for my own expedition around the Cape Peninsula. And my mom, @kimbothorne1 , couldn’t do enough to support me—cooking pre-race meals, filling water bottles, and making sure every detail was taken care of. Having both of them there, along with my brother, grandma, aunt, and friends cheering on the sidelines, was my greatest motivation.

I felt strong the whole way, and that’s thanks to the incredible support and nutrition from @primalpower_nutrition_ppn. Even more remarkable was how well I recovered afterwards, bouncing back quickly enough to take on a double-day Primal Race in Hong Kong. Proof of the power of quality fuel.

Huge gratitude also to @physiowithyashmita and @prohealthphysiohk for taking my knees from struggling at 20km to zero pain over 56km.

To everyone who organized, raced, supported, clapped, smiled, sang, and even offered tequila—you are what makes Two Oceans the most beautiful race in the world.

Cebu Expedition 2025

So incredibly grateful to have been apart of this journey with @philippineoutriggercanoeclub and @vrc_outrigger. Starting in Mactan we paddled down the coast stopping in Argao and ending in Oslob, approx 150km. Paddling in such beautiful waters was such a treat. I can't count how many times I said "Look at this water!". The real treat however was meeting the most wonderful people along the way and having the chance to share our passion for the sport, water and for community. Thank you to everyone person that played a part in making this possible. I can't wait to be back.

Also extremely chuffed that I ended the year with a real turtle sighting whilst on tour🐢
