short story: My new project is out. Available wherever you stream or purchase music. 🙌🏾
long story: *whew!* I definitely started 3 different projects over the last 5yrs. (I plan on finishing them, btw) After facing setbacks and being a prisoner in my thoughts and in my pursuit of perfection, I would put my art on the back burner. In November, during a down moment, I had an epiphany. I wanted to go into a big studio, I wanted to use the best musicians, the finest engineers; all of the greatness that I had been exposed to over my years in the professional music business. But I heard God say, “Look around you. You possess everything you need. Use what you have.” And for the first time in over a decade, I found myself in the creative space that I was in fresh out of high school, when I purchased my first computer and set up my studio in my bedroom. When I was fearless, able to create with no restrictions, untainted by the horrors of the music business, and people’s opinions. So before bringing in my peers that I respect so highly, before investing more funds in the luxuries of the bells and whistles that I feel my music deserves, I gotta actually “start” somewhere. Gotta crawl before you walk, right? Apparently, there are #Levels to this thing…so, I introduce to you, “Levels.” taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @tbaileybass

FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION

Best Jazz Performance

“Let’s Agree To Love” by Yulia featuring Jackiem Joyner

https://yuliamusic.com/for-your-grammy-consideration

About The Song

“Let’s Agree To Love” began as an instrumental composition and gradually became a message about choosing to love in a world where division can make people forget what truly connects us. The song invites listeners to rediscover the deeper meaning of love as God intended it — not simply as a feeling, but as a conscious choice expressed through kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and understanding. It is a choice to see beyond our differences and recognize what unites us. Ultimately, love is a gift from God, given to us so that we can share it with one another.
