York Minster is a sight to behold😍founded in 1394 and finished after a whopping 7 centuries of construction in 1472, it truly is a relic that stands out among the rest. Towering above most cathedrals in Northern Europe, it’s highest tower (Central) stands at 235 feet/72 metres of Gothic architecture.
This Anglo-Catholic cathedral has housed many archbishops in its time, dedicated to Saint Peter, it still serves the people of York, and all its 7 million yearly visitors, as it always has.
You can pay a small fee to have a look around and even attend mass if you’re religiously inclined💒
There are many attractions around the central city of York so planning is key in this beautiful city. Blink and you’ll miss it😑😉

Bye Bye Dubai❤️It’s not often I got chance to take pictures like this from the window as I was ‘expected’ to be alert. What a beautiful clear day to see all the way down to Jebel Ali from DXB international. Thanks to everyone that helped me in the debacle of leaving this city after nearly 17 years. I forgot how hard it would be. Miss you all so much and hope everything turns out ok for all you remaining crew and ground staff.
