It was a truly insane summer. My job ended, I got a trophy, and the multi decade experience of The Late Show has come to a close. Much love to Mr Colbert, who brought me into this weird world ten years ago. It's been a flash of love and flop sweat. I don't think I can begin to reflect on what writing for the late show meant to me. Those posts will come later. This one is about crossing the finish line. by @tbox1999

Happy mother's day to the woman that amazes me every single day of the year. These kids have no idea how lucky they are. I try to explain it, but one doesn't talk yet and the other one is more concerned about his daily juice intake than the unconditional love he receives from his mom. They'll get it one day. In these days of isolation my favorite room in the house has become the kitchen. There is something so satisfying about creating meals that nourish your loved ones. And to top it off, our kitchen is, dare I say, pretty cute.
Bonus points to whoever gives a name to the skeptical porcelain porcine chef at the corner of the stove.
