What a comeback! 🏆⚾️

Day 1 of pool play didn’t go as planned, with the boys finishing 0-2. But they came back on Day 2 ready to compete. 💪

Bracket play brought them right back up against the same teams—and this time, TBT flipped the script. 3-0 on Day 2 and TC Tournament CHAMPIONS! 🏆🔥

Proud of the way these boys battled, stayed together, and never let a tough first day define their weekend.

Way to go, TBT 14U! ❤️🤍💙

Baseball Benji and the TBT SoCal 11U boys are officially headed into bracket play at the Slam Marcos Summer Slammer 2026! After going undefeated at 2-0 while playing up in the 12U division, the boys battled their way into the #1 seed and a spot in the Gold Bracket! 🥇

Now the real battle begins.

TBT will face the #4-seeded Hawks with one goal in mind — WIN AND PUNCH OUR TICKET TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP! 🏆

Earning the #1 seed also means the TBT boys will be the home team for the rest of the tournament. Ronan got the start on the mound, followed by Asher to close things out.

But this game was FAR from easy.

The Hawks came out swinging, and before we knew it, TBT found themselves down four runs. By the bottom of the 4th inning, the boys were staring at a 7-2 deficit with their championship hopes on the line.

Down five runs. Backs against the wall. Season on the line.

And that’s when the TBT bats EXPLODED. 💥

@nathan_d_sd2033 started the comeback by absolutely crushing a 2-RUN HOME RUN over the fence! 💣 But the boys weren’t finished.

Ronan stepped up and smashed his FIRST-EVER HOME RUN, cutting into the Hawks’ lead and bringing TBT even closer! 🚀⚾

Then @nathan_d_sd2033 came back to the plate…

AND DID IT AGAIN! 💣💣

His second home run of the game was a massive 3-RUN BLAST that completed the comeback and gave TBT the lead!

From being down 7-2 to taking the lead when it mattered most, these boys showed exactly what it means to never give up.

COMEBACK COMPLETE. CHAMPIONSHIP TICKET PUNCHED. 🏆🔥

Never count the TBT boys out! They put everything on the line, battled until the very end, and refused to quit.

🔥 USSSA Labor Day Belt Wars 🔥
The TBT High School Prep team went 2-2 in pool play, earning the #5 seed heading into bracket play.

In the quarterfinals, the boys squared up against Winn Baseball and came out swinging, outscoring them 8-2 to punch their ticket to the semifinals.

Next up was Grind, well coached by Wes Sanchez. Once again, the boys showed up with outstanding pitching and defense, fueled by strong leadership behind the plate from Caul Hills. Then, when the moment called for it, Mack Hammond delivered with a clutch late-inning home run, giving the boys the push they needed to advance to the championship game. 💣🔥

In the championship, they faced Crush, and the boys continued to put on a pitching and defensive clinic, executing inning after inning and making it tough for their opponent to find any rhythm.

But beyond the wins, this weekend was about something bigger.

We couldn’t be more proud of this group and their desire to get BETTER — and their willingness to rise to the standard that Coach Josh and I preach week in and week out.

We saw a group of young men leave this weekend better than they arrived, hungry for the next challenge, and ready to take the next step in their high school journey.

The work continues. The standard stays high. 💯

Proud of you, boys. Keep getting BETTER. Gotta love AI

Another summer around the game I love. Grateful for the places baseball takes me, the people I get to meet, and the opportunity to help the next generation grow. Love these kids and wouldn’t trade the memories we made this summer for anything. 🙏🏻⚾️ by @tbtsocal
