Playing catch with a purpose 🎯

It’s crazy how something so simple separates players… but the truth is — if you can’t play catch, you’re not going to be a good baseball player. It all starts there.

Your throwing progression matters. It all translates when the game speeds up. Catch play isn’t just “getting loose”… it’s developing arm strength, accuracy, rhythm, and feel every single day.

For those of you that know me… you know I’m a stickler about catch play 😅
Because it matters THAT much.

But at the same time — keep it FUN. Compete with your partner, challenge each other, talk some trash, enjoy it. The best players take pride in their catch play while still loving the process.

Be intentional. Be consistent.

Drop a comment with some of your favorite catch play drills. 🔥 by @tc9_performance

A new week brings new opportunities. Stop waiting for it to happen — go make it happen 🚨

There’s no substitute for hard work. When I’m training kids and working with my players, it’s always raw and authentic. It’s about finding what works for them and what makes it click.

It’s about them.

My training schedule for the week is posted‼️

Monday–Saturday this week 👀

Braeden is heading to Houston from Colorado to play w/ the @panthers9unational boys‼️ Good luck B 👊

Weekend work w/ @emry_gates & cowensconnor10 👀

29’ Emry Gates’ game continues to trend in a big way 📈. Gates handles the bat well and shows good bat to ball skills, His upside on the mound is just as exciting — consistently living in the strike zone in the mid 80’s. Currently one of the top-ranked players in Colorado 🗻.

30’ Connor Cowens is a NAME TO KNOW in the 2030 class. The 6’4”, 190-lb frame jumps off the page, and the left-hander has already been up to 87 MPH 😳. Going to be an exciting follow.

Small tweaks over winter break are paying off for @jett_maisano 🔥

We emphasized holding direction and staying connected through the upper half — really locking in on staying through the breaking ball and driving pitches to all fields.

The redshirt freshman is extremely physical and has all the tools to be an impact bat in the lineup 🧃⬆️
