An introvert is a person who gets their energy from internal thoughts and solitude rather than from social interaction. In a very social society when someone inherently enjoys solitude and their own company they are stigmatized as “anti-social” or “whacky.” That could be the case, but more often than naught they are simply introverts. I like people. I enjoy people for the most part. I work with people and the public most days and it is emotionally exhausting for me, especially as I age. Most of the time I want to be within my own self. I am actively searching for activities that allow me to do just that. #deathtobuckthorn #buckthornremoval #restoreourecosystems #dosomethingforfuckssake by @tc_bubble_boy

Another great course by Heck of the North Productions. Roll out from Castle Danger Brewing and into the inspirational gravel roads and trails of The North Shore of Minnesota. Loved every minute of the day! Great people. Great place. #heckofthenorthproductions #heckofthenorth2026 #twoharborsmn #minnesotanorthshore by @tc_bubble_boy

A gorgeous morning ride to work. We don’t get a lot of fog in our region, but when we do it’s magical. Life is short. If there are things you appreciate, don’t miss them. Even the simplest of those things. #chainoflakes #minneapolis #bikecommute by @tc_bubble_boy

Hard to believe this was 14 years ago. That little munchkin isn’t a little munchkin any longer. He never even tried skateboarding, BTW by @tc_bubble_boy

I somehow ended up with three of my family bibles from the Wolcott’s. My great grandfather married Ellen Wolcott in the late 1890’s soon after he immigrated from Ireland. Ellen was a great niece of the Wolcott’s of Litchfield, Connecticut. The patriarch was Roger Wolcott, who himself came to the New World as a New England colonist. His son General Oliver Wolcott was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, Governor of Connecticut, leader of the Congregationalist Church, leader of at least two successful revolutionary campaigns and eventually became Secretary of the Treasury. He is also known for implementing the idea of utilizing the lead from the fallen statue of King George to transition the raw material into bullets to use against the redcoats. His backyard in Lichfield became the location for the makeshift smelter. Early last year I decided to educate myself on the early history of my country. When you dig and delve it is very eye opening, exciting and interesting. I would encourage you to do the same. My favorite characters from our history are Roger Williams and William Penn (surprise!), for similar, but also distinct reasons. Happy Fourth! Say hi to your neighbor. #fourthofjuly #ushistory #oliverwolcott #americanhistory by @tc_bubble_boy

This guy is 23 years old now. Hard to believe sometimes. He was a bundle of energy as a young chap. Miss the time. Love my boys. by @tc_bubble_boy

Trust brings out honesty. People are generally good. Wild Country Maple believes we are honest. Prices are fair. After some taste tests, we left with a 32oz jar of maple syrup that came from the trees we passed driving down their wooded lane. It was only $20, so we left with a $10 squeeze bottle of local honey also. We saw a ruffed grouse wandering about. Glad we went. @wildcountrymapleproducts by @tc_bubble_boy

Spinning on North Shore gravel in the North Woods is never a let down. The Heck of the North knows how to put an event together. Great folks on bikes in the best place in the upper Midwest. A gem. @heckofthenorth #legranddunord by @tc_bubble_boy
