Happy birthday to the kindest and sweetest 17 year old I’ve ever met. God sent you to me when I needed you most, and I will forever be grateful. All I can say is Wow!!!………to this incredible half time show! So proud of the NHS Tigerettes, the Marching Band and the Flagline Members! And I’m especially proud of my youngest as she dances her heart out at her first half time show!!! Found this today, and my heart just aches for my sweet pal. This was a response to my first selfie that I experimented with on her MacBook. I took a series of selfie photo’s, and it felt so silly to me. This was very new technology, and the Narcissistic “selfie” was not a thing. I remember how brazen and bold it felt to post them. I felt a little out of my comfort zone. But no matter what risks I took, she was always there to boost me. I really did look silly and awkward, and rather than tease me, she told me how much more beautiful I was in person…it was just her way. Sometimes when a child passes, it’s so easy to punish yourself, rewrite the relationship in a way that the torturing mind chooses to remember. Sometimes I come across our posts, and in each and everyone, a deep love is expressed between us. God I miss this kid. My life will never be the same without her 💔 by @tcgrneyes
