I got a bit frustrated...ok, well i got infuriated when one of my comments got reported on a Tiktok post yesterday. I tried to appeal but it seems like TikTok approves the report and therefore, removed my comment.

It is not the first time that this happened, and i feel like it has become more and more frequent ever since the ban threat of the platform in the US.

I am now torn and end up asking myself "should i say what i think, react normally on some content on Tiktok?" or "should i just keep what i have to say for myself and give up on engaging with the community?"

It is sad to even think this way, especially when there is no way to know what exactly "triggers" the community or these so loved "community guidelines"; as when you appeal and receive your verdict, even if you try to ask detail about what was wrong in your choice of words, noone will clarify this for you.

The worse part is that you end up losing it when you see content (videos) or other comments that are way worse than what you usually write, still available/visible on this plarform.

If someone can try to make sense of this to me...

🗺️ Hidden on the slopes near Suwon’s Hwaseong Fortress, you’ll find this giant golden Buddha watching over the city. ✨

Most visitors stick to the palace and fortress walls, but if you hike a little further, Daeseungwon Temple rewards you with peace, prayer lanterns, and a two-story Buddha that glows at sunset. 🌅

🤔 The right hand of the Buddha is in Jnana Mudra ("teaching"), and its left hand in Vitarka Mudra ("intellectual discussion"), symbolic of enlightenment and thoughtful discourse.

To me, it is a “must-stop” not only for the statue overlooking the city, but also for the serene meditation area underneath it, which offers a unique sense of peace away from busier temples.

➡️ Tip: come late afternoon, climb slow, and let the view + golden glow be your reward.
