Congratulations to our Vice President Isaac Oduro on securing his summer internship with MJH Life Sciences! 🎉 We are incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work that brought him to this moment, and we have no doubt he will make the most of this opportunity.

Isaac will be stepping into a Strategic Operations Management role, supporting cross-functional projects by managing timelines, coordinating workflows, and driving operational execution across multiple teams. Most people lose money in Vegas but I walked away with connections, amazing content, and new opportunities!

NABA’s WIN (We Invest Now) Conference hit different this year, especially since my school couldn’t sponsor the trip. I had two options: sit it out or invest in myself anyway

So I invested in myself instead, booked my own flight, paid my own registration, and showed up to put in the work. Late nights, no guarantees, just the belief that if I showed up and delivered, it would pay off.

And it did. I built real relationships, created content I’m proud of, and put myself in rooms I wouldn’t have been in otherwise.

As part of our Black student success spotlight, we recently sat down with our NABA President Odane Daley! We discussed what Black excellence means to him, what keeps him motivated, and his message to anyone navigating challenges along their journey.

Odin serves as President of National Association of Black Accountants, is a member of the Bonner Community Service Program, works as a Tax Audit Intern at Ernst & Young, and was recently awarded the NJCPA Scholarship at the 50th Anniversary Conference hosted by the NABA Northern Chapter! 🏆

In our conversation, he spoke about the importance of pushing through adversity, keeping your head up during difficult moments, and finding inner joy as a foundation for success. In honor of Black History Month, we had the opportunity to sit down with Milan Dargan as she reflected on her college journey.

Milan holds many responsibilities such as an Army ROTC Cadet of the Princeton University Brigade, Operations Assistant for the VP of Inclusive Excellence, and a Community Advisor for Residential Education. In our interview she spoke on the importance of representing herself, her family, and the black community with pride, purpose, and a high standard. Her story is a reminder that discipline, motivation, and self-belief are powerful tools in building a legacy of excellence ✊🏽✨ by @tcnj.naba
